Malva, I’ve run out of “likes” on the forums to give today. But I agree with your post 10000000%.
Brutosaur has really made the problem worse. They still haven’t made an official announcement on removing it yet, They could easily just change their minds; that would probably seem even more deceptive at this point however.
Absolutely agreed. It’s crazy that Blizzard allowed AH botting to go on as long as it has.

So now I’m confused. I only post once a day. You said you had a problem with people standing at the AH all day.
Which is it? Because if I post my entire catalog of transmogs, it could take quite a while now, but I’ll still only be posting them once.
Are you botting? That’s where my concern is.
If your addon is posting everything for you, based on parameters you’ve fed it, you’re botting. That needs to stop.
That’s not how it works, do basic research before commenting, thanks.
I used Autionator until last month. I found that it did nothing different for me than the basic WoW AH, so now I just use the AH as designed by WoW and am able to get my items posted easily and quickly. It doesn’t take a program to do the work for you. Just my opinion.
Then punish people who spend an hour and a half each day in mythic plus. Or raids. Or pvp.
Then get them to increase their efforts to ban botters? but honestly these days most people undercutting aren’t bots. there would be much better ways of making gold if they were going to.
Blizzard does… if they’re botting.
TSM is not botting, by Blizzard’s very own definition. It’s what I use.
It requires a hardware click for every item I post, therefore, it is not botting. You don’t have to like it, however, I didn’t set that rule. Blizzard did.
Completely wrong. Everybody who wants to purchase non commodities that take a long time to sell will end up ‘punished’ with lesser availability and higher prices.
And now they’re setting a new rule. So the throttling is fine, according to you.
TSM is no more botting the AH than Gladius or Weakauras are botting Arenas or raids.
There’s a huge difference between TSM and Weakauras.
There is not a single auctioning addon that does anything remotely like what you are describing. TSM and all other auctioning addons require manual inputs just like the default auction UI. There is no automation.
Why are you even partaking in this conversation if you have zero idea what you’re talking about?
Then people will go get the items themselves until the prices normalize.
That’s not botting, It’s not “smart” it doesn’t click the button to cancel or post… It requires a person to do it. You are wrong.
The parameters are only there to make sure you’re not selling too high or too low and give you a base sale price if none are listed.
The base auction house RIGHT NOW automatically gives you the price to sell at that matches the lowest available price.
