im saying this as someone who got their attunements done within first 2 months its kind of bad for the long term health of the game as fresh players become rarer they will have more troubles running up the attunements especially since the t5 attunements require pretty much every heroic being unlocked

Personally I don’t see it having much of an impact. Even if you skip the attunement quest lines players will still be seeking to do the dungeons/raids on their alts for the gear anyways.
And a lot of players will still probably do those attunement quest chains just for the large amount of gold you get out of it.

why would anyone bother to take their alts into heroics when they go straight into kara to gear up from quest blues

Because it’s more fun than immediately raid logging once you hit 70.
They can perform better in Kara which makes the run faster/easier which a lot of people find more fun than doing dog water damage the entire time.
Good luck tanking Kara with all questing blues.
If you find heroic dungeons too difficult just say so.

I literally tanked kara in almost all quest blues and ah boes first week. the only real hard part of heroics is finding 4 other people

bigfatdabs I switched to boomkin after quitting for a month after the first 3 resets so my gear is mid I also started boomkin raiding in ah and vendor gear was zero issues getting into raids. heroic trash hits harder than raid bosses in p1
So your Feb 26 run where you were tanking looks absolutely miserable.
You didn’t beat Prince you wiped until everybody left the group.
So you see? People run heroics so they don’t have to experience that type of group.
I see NICOLE was in that group (Enhance Shaman). I would love to hear his experience.
So you “literally tanked Kara” but you were in there for almost 3 hours and didn’t even fully complete it. You also had a heroic dungeon item, so you did run at least some heroics beforehand.
Anyways. People will run heroics on their alts. At least the smart ones who don’t want to experience a 3 hour Kara that might not get completed will.

heroic trash literally hits harder than raid bosses. also the problem with that clear was not on my end it was with the brain dead dps who could not handle basic mechanics. combine that with the chess bug where we stuck doing chess for over an hour. dealing with those idiots is why I quit for a month lol. also whats your name because it seems like all you do is spend your time on the forums trolling.

Last TBC Classic, they removed the attunements midway thru phase 2.
I do think Blizzard will nerf heroics with phase 2 launch as well, they just aren’t going to make a big deal about it and it will be a footnote in the patch notes.
They said heroic dungeon changes will be phase 3 in their blue post.
They said heroic dungeon loot changes would happen in p3, nothing about difficulty.
They are 100% adding a catch up currency or something to heroics for raid gear in p3.

They’ll probably just add an extra drop from heroic dungeon bosses and call it a day.

You were literally being dragged through that place by the dps, when you actually let us dps. You were literally the worst player I have ever met in my life.

probably they’ll just do the 2.1 changes in p3 and give a guaranteed epic from the final boss rather than a random gem

never once was threat a problem. I remember your guild also you could not come up with a tank so you had to pug you guys were ooming the healers constantly from standing in stuff sorry I did not have a perfect memory of where to stick prince from when I played literally 20 years ago. your dps was trash and your whole guild was honestly trash I was just being nice. only like 3 wipes were my fault the rest of the 20 or so wipes were from your guild
