I think half these jokes must have just gone over the heads of the devs that made the call to remove them.
That dranei joke is no worse than the humor they slip into children’s shows like like gumball to give parents a laugh when watching shows with their kids. But that’s somehow too extreme for fully grown adult devs working on a T rated game with a mostly adult playerbase I guess. ¯|__ (ツ) __|¯

I imagine that the early artwork for night elf women and the vanilla cinematic of the night elf druidess wearing armor bikini will be distanced by blizzard. Remember in the BfA pre-patch event that the night elves were wearing the armor bikini? And that was only 1 expansion ago!
Yeah the one where they complain that they have to pay for a dreadlock? It’s kinda telling who you really are IRL if you want that joke to stay.

I mean the two flirts and I even named one of them. Get a clue. They’re flirts but they’re also funny so they’re jokes too despite not being behind /funny. Because I never thought them that sexy.

I’ve already ignored a large segment of the online misogynist brigade from when the news broke and the denial happened, perhaps time to build up my lists of knights who like light colored armor and have an obsession with enforcing prudishness as I don’t enjoy interacting with people who act in bad faith.
Apparently male worgens aren’t allowed to howl. Thought that was pretty tame but guess not. I just want them to replace what was removed at this point cause kinda sad Wrogens, Dwarves, Pandaren and Goblins got axed hard.

They can still joke about spraying milk without actually being able to do it though, no implying they’ve had kids at all and I always figured tauren biology works differently than a feral cow

I’ll just come out and say it, when blizzard tries to crack a joke, it’s never really been my thing. Ever since my friends introduced me to the RTS games and thought it was the height of hilarity to keep clicking the peon, I was just like, yeah whatever. It’s definitely not why I decided to play this game. Several jokes and flirts I’ve always hated, so I don’t usually use them because I don’t want to be randomly talking about farting in the tub.
It was always juvenile humor, and the best silly was removed back at like the end of vanilla (I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves).
I will not miss this stuff, I know it’s cool to go all slippery slope on it, but really we’re talking about some of the stupidest things in the game. Like me and my friends only ever used them ironically to see how cringe our characters could sound, and that was like all of two times when we were very bored. I guess what I’m saying is, if they are removing something, anything, this is precisely what I couldn’t care less about.

That is what people do not understand. Reasonable people are not upset that crude jokes were removed. People are upset that things are being removed once again from the players with nothing to take it’s place.
At the point the devs are spending the time to remove any form of content from us(unless it is limited time content) it should be replace when removed.
Forget cancel culture and censorship this is a video game stop removing forms of content without a replacement planned. That is the problem. At the end of the day it is their game and their choice what kind of content they want.
I’m surprised the Female Goblin response about being “tied down” isn’t in the list.

What strikes me is the rabid support for the removal of these things. I wonder if the source of the “outrage” and demands for removal came from a faction more to the right of the philosophical spectrum, say Christian Fundamentalists, would there be as much ralling behind them?
