yeah i assure you, more people will sub for soloing fully bfa and shadowlands than the post
Maybe they’re telling you WoW is more enjoyable played with friends, and that you should make some and it would help with your negative emotional state you’re obviously stuck in.

There is exactly zero evidence of this, and myriad sources confirming that the post is good for player retention, if handled remotely decent.

Neither the post or BfA content being soloable would bring anyone back or convince anyone who doesn’t enjoy the game to stay.
How many sources do you want, and what kind of variety? I can focus on their parallels, a battle pass, or I can go even deeper with studies that dive into player psychology.

they like it because it gives them an opportunity to access the things which they asked for… like more cosmetics, and items which have become unobtainable during the duration of the game.
yeah… they’re subbed because they play the game.

so they like the fact that they can get extra rewards for participating in the activities which they already do… activities which they already sub for.
