It’s slow, like real slow. And layered.
I know lining up all the CD’s is a thing (Deathmark > Shiv > Kingsbane), but there’s something about Shiv > Kingsbane or Shiv > Darkest Night gives in the downtime that’s oddly satisfying.
It feels weird having downtime between Shivs or spreading Rupture/Garotte.
Just a curious aside… What do you use to prevent overcapping on Combo points as Assassination? Garrote? Fan of Knives?
Shiv has to be used with Kingsbane. if you have double Shiv talented then you wait until you get 2 stacks back up so you can double Shiv during Kingsbane to buff the entire Kingsbane window. If you are needing to proc Darkest Night to reapply Death Mark, Garrote can be used if you are one point short otherwise just hit mutilate. Getting Death Mark up asap is more important than over-capping combo points, and FoK is not worth hitting ever single target.
During normal rotation you Envenom once you hit 5 CP or more and Envenom buff is nearly over. If you are energy rich you can hit mutilate at 5 combo points, but definitely Envenom at 6 otherwise.
