Assassination and Energy

I’ve been toying around with Assassination, and I found that I’m often low on energy. Is this normal? Will there be lulls where I’m waiting on energy?

Make sure you have poisons on your daggers and bleeds on your target.

When you want to do the most damage, wait for full energy and kidney.

Yes, sin is slow. If you want to feel like you have more energy play sub or outlaw

Yeah for sure. I find I often am sitting around waiting for energy (Night Elf Rogue Assassin, Lvl 25) but I use that time to chug a heal potion or change positions. It also helps to use your attacks that do damage over time (i.e. 116 damage over 18 seconds) and make sure your knives are poisoned. :+1:

You just reminded me of that.

This exactly why I went outlae, I was sin all of legion. Then when we lost our artifacts sin was unbeatably slow so I went outlaw.

Then outlaw was a god in mythic + so that was neat lol

What? How does a 5cp KS even come close to a 5cp Envenom?
Stunning your target doesn’t increase your damage.

As an example: I open on a mob with Garrote followed by Mutilate. I now have 5 cp. Do I Rupture, Kidney Shot or Envenom? I Envenom because that’s the most damage and the mob is usually dead. If not, DoT’s plus another Mutilate usually does the trick.

It applies prey on the weak to them, increasing their damage and allowing you to get all of your damage off.

If the mob dies from Envenom, there is no damage to benefit from Prey on the Weak.

One thing you can do is drop the Deeper Stratagem talent and take and take Vigor instead. Not only do you get 70 more energy your regen is increased by 10%. That would help with your energy regen a lot! Hope this helps!
