I don’t use SnD properly.
Or I don’t use Envenom properly.
Always confused which it is.
For sake of simplicity, I would love a talent that underperforms it’s competitors but makes Envenom apply SnD for the same duration as the Envenom buff.
Alternatively, casting Rupture with SnD up doubles the SnD benefit for 1 second per combo point. Casting Rupture without SnD has a chance to refund 35 energy (positive gain), 1 combo point, or both.
The idea is to make sin happier to use SnD on priority, and better reward the feedback for twisting the finishers together.
Personally, these could be competing talent options, as in one case, more Envenoms are injected to the rotation, and in the other, the other finishers are better rewarded as a sustained source of damage (and performing even further over in any multi-DoT or cleave scenario).
These could be a direct competitor to Crimson Tempest, the other possible finisher, rounding out a set of talent options that ask “how complicated or synergizing should the finishing set feel?”
But yeah, Shiv is Toxic Blade, considering damage is tuned to be ~sort of~ balanced.
