Hes been doing that for years. People do it because they get to raid with asmongold. Its stupid.

I mean it’s just reality. You can’t do asmongold loot system if you aren’t famous and have people who will let you rob them in public.

He has stated several times that he uses a fake persona for these reasons, and he talks about how important it is for his success not to “break character”.
He is much different on his second channel, but I’ve mostly stopped watching Twitch. The phoniness is a big part of why. His positive take on GDKP was also a big reason these forums got bombarded.
I also have too many games to play to watch someone else.

I’ve heard that about his second channel. It still didn’t appeal to me, and still struck me as a personality stream. Just with no game attached. The other difference being the personality.
I tend to get “taken out” of a comedy set if the comedian decides to “get real for a minute,” as if their inner-thoughts are more poignant than others. And we should listen to their opinions and musings.
Asmongolds second channel, from the clips I was shown, seems that way. Are they all him talking to the camera?

As far as loot systems go it is though. You aren’t required to join or stay in his raids when you learn the loot rules. They’re bad and should prevent anyone with two brain cells from joining him, but I’d never blame his viewers of having excess in that department.
