None of that comes off as either a sacrifice or “for the WoW community”, all of that has furthered his own growth and own community.
You want to know what kind of person Asmongold is? Selfish. Heck, his biggest defender and friend McConnel stopped hanging out with Asmongold because of the guys self centered and elitest behavior. Heck, even his GF left the guy.
Asmongold does everything first and foremost for himself and no one else. Everything he does is for his benefit, either in game or for his channel, or his ego.
EDIT: Actually, I take that partially back. He cares for his mom and does a lot for her but for the WoW community? Nah.

The first quote I already talked about. For the second one, mostly time is what he’s sacrificed, making wow videos and streaming isn’t as easy as you think.

Actually. We gave everything to Asmongold. (well not me, don’t consume his media)
Without an audience he would just be a guy playing a video game. Its the community that follows him that supports him.
So Asmongold should be thankful and probably is. Maybe. Idk.

Its his job, ie -career choice. People who suck at their job usually dont keep it long.
It’s his job, apparently. Still boggles my mind that people have made “playing video games live” a valid career choice, but here we are I guess.
He’s doing a great job in my opinion, I think asmongold is great at putting out good wow content for people that might be interested in the game.
