why is mw not a good healer for warlocks? I acknowledge hpal is #1 though
I have heard this opinion before (I’m only inferring it here), but I don’t really see how mistweavers are worse than priests. I guess that in the comps where you suggested a disc it’s because they already have someone with stuns
hmmm… quite unfortunate…
The way you beat warlocks is you play on their port and try to run them over with overwhelming damage while spam ccing their healer.
Hpal and disc semi counter this strategy because of how much momentum stoppers they have (double painsupps double bops dome sac) and they have reliable repositioning tools once the port position is compromised(hand of freedom and life grip acrosss map).
Mw isn’t terrible at healing warlocks if you play a comp that has big peels for the warlock while you are ccd like demo ele, demo ret, demo devestation. But if you play a comp like Assa aff as mw you probably won’t have the required amount of cd trades to live long enough to get a kill because after trinket cacoon and revival your class is pretty much naked.
I played fury destro mw to about 2.7mmr and it felt like we could live for like 5-6minutes if we traded and positioning perfectly but if we overlapped or made an in inefficient trade then comps like jungle would kill us in 90 seconds. Offensively mw felt insane tho with the incap song sweep cc chain during the coil stun window and the massive damage from orb and wind kick.
