ever since they made it take forever to start the next event I haven’t had the time to sit around and wait for one to start. my 2 characters can barely even get rep because the wait is just too boring and there’s nothing else to do so i’d rather just log off

Instead of waiting around for it to start, maybe go kill things and help it get started? Aka interact with the mechanics of the game?
At least on my server, the difference between alliance and horde is so great that horde takes almost twice as long to complete their % 
He’s talking about the time it takes to start, not the actual battle. It’s like 1-2 hours to start.
