Theres nothing “hard to obtain” when rng is the Unique factor.
Scarlet enclave is in fact the harderst raid in SoD with normal difficult, so, getting ashbringer right now is really HARD because You need to clear the harderst raid.
TF and and HoR are not hard to get, the raid sucks and rng is the Unique factor.
PD. I’m hyped for My own ashbringer and i’m happy that every one can have that desired item, we are majority

Would you be opposed to the Spirit of Mograine encounter being buffed to present an actual challenge? That would constitute skill-based difficulty for the individual player.
As it stands now, your hype will quickly turn to apathy just as it will for everyone else.
Just going on record here I disagree with OP and think it’s great anyone who consistently tries, with very little barrier to entry, can enjoy the game as much as anyone who tries really hard and rushes the endgame.

Its a fake legendary. Literally just a regular purple weapon they changed the name color on and gave the sod makeover. Pretty limp if you ask me.

2 MCs i have not done since release… most where hm2/3 durning p4… Still have never once seen the EYE drop on my druid. Had that damn hammer rdy to go since week 1, cost ALOT back then. So ya Hand of rag was that freely given F RNG loot

Ragebait. Ashbringer still costs 4k+ gold easily, my last check a couple days ago on WG Alliance was up at 4.4k gold.
12 weeks is more than most guilds are willing to stick together for it. So many guilds have fallen apart and I promise you that’s not because of Ashbringer.
Not to mention, lets say you can afford 4.4k gold+ worth of mats- There are two quest items from the raid you have to acquire. One drops off of Beatrix (which most people have by now) and one off of Caldoran. Most raids aren’t even killing Caldoran yet, or have only just started. This isn’t a problem, and the people complaining about it are literally baiting.
Then again, I only even want it because it’s a cool item. I play exodin, ashbringer is literally a dps loss for me compared to Leogan. And I save 4k+ gold. Fine by me.

Just checked my guild’s Wednesday raid team and they have 8. Just checked our Saturday team and there’s 9. We run 30ish players.
We were doing 25 man squads for Naxx and cut down one raid team and filled the others to 30.
Ret paladins would be on here daily losing their minds if they lost a rare drop Ashbringer to a warrior. This was the only way to keep the fox tail human rets from flooding the forums with their tears.

Because artificially restricting gear is silly.
Because Legendary items are indicative of weapons or equipment that have lore based implications, and their acquisition often involves long questlines with additional requirements. Legendary =/= rare.
