I am still torn between warlock or mage. I played a warlock in the recent beta to 30. I was a dwarf priest back in 2004.
Mage does more dps but there will be a need for locks…
How is the roster shaping up for these two classes?
2 teams are near roster cap on mages.
1 team is near roster cap on warlocks.
Mages allow better farming in world areas and instance trash.
Warlocks level slightly faster and allow you to solo all content easier with their pets.
Those will generally be your deciding factors, as they are both very solid classes in raids, pvp, and overall gameplay.
You could always start a lock get to 20+ so u can get a summon stone taxi alt for world bosses and stick with it or level a mage later if u want to main that.
Or level the mage first to 60 and then a taxi warlock alt second, or max the warlock later on.
There are still many raiding spots available. Come on, don’t be shy!
I’m noticing on the forums many people don’t even know about this yet. I wonder if I should make a thread on it.

Classic + or Classic evolved. what do you guys think?
obviously some servers would be strictly classic
I keep saying I wouldn’t have a problem with Classic + as long as its 60 cap and doesn’t vitiate previous content.
Bring back Dragon Isles, 60 Kara, Azshara Basin, etc, etc.
Would be good.
Say… two years or so after Classic has been a thing.
