No it does not, you can play any content as Prot. Please tell me which content you cannot go into as prot.

I told you Prot war is terrible compared to other tanks in WM, BGs, Arena, Questing etc. In some aspects it’s just unplayable now. Especially after the recent PvP increase damage to tanks which hurts Prot War the most since they have no way to mitigate that. They were bad before but now not playable.

There is your issue, go play another tank if you don’t like prot war.

I did and said that in above post. I said I get the Prot War feel I missed from WotLK from playing Prot Pal. That is my main now and really love it. Just saddens me the current state of Prot War and I have many friends that play Prot War that quit because they didn’t want to reroll to another Tank. I quit for most of BFA but came back for 8.3 and love Prot Pal. It’s really the real tanks for what I need.

See this is where i’d point at the MDI and other statistics but you don’t believe in those.

MDI statistics are meaningless because of what I said already. Not sure why you keep bringing it up.

What some find fun others do not, how do you know you are not the minority in this argument?

Because the majority of this game isn’t doing mythics. They aren’t even raiding. They aren’t watching your precious MDI. They don’t care. I don’t care. I won’t watch MDI because there is no reason for me to watch it. I don’t like doing mythics much less watching other players do them.

You need to look at the game as a whole from leveling, questing, class identity and feel. How does the class feel for returning players that haven’t played since TBC or Wrath? Has the class improved since then or lost it’s identity.

Also not everyone’s end game is raiding or mythics. Most players will dable in some LFR but don’t do progression. I only suffer through mythics for a chest and shot of extra gear to have fun in the content I like doing just like a lot of other players. I miss the old days. These last 2 expansions have made me miss WoD and that wasn’t an amazing expansion.

PS- On topic Prot has been gutted the last 2 expansions and it looks like 3 is a charm. That is what this thread is about and why I commented on it. I love Prot War from old expansions but won’t be touching them till they get some much needed love from the Devs.

At least TBC servers will be coming and Prot War was awesome then. Stack some shield block value and do some big sexy shield slams.
