Sylvanas was already there when Garrosh was made Warchief and when he was disposed of.
Her creation of the Forsaken Plague is what led to Garrosh becoming Warchief in the first place! Saurfang Jr. died because of that Plague and Thrall thought he would have been a worthy Warchief had he lived.
Garrosh was appointed because Thrall deemed that Cairne and Volâjin wouldnât be accepted by the Orcs while Eitrigg was too old.
Thankfully Sylvanas, Garrosh and Gallywix are gone which means that the corruption that could take over the Horde is only GeyaârahâŚ
Since the Horde is a Council that means the chances of Geyaârah ascending soon requires multiple Horde Leaders disposed of⌠There is no logical reason for her to be appointed Supreme Leader.
Infact considering Anduinâs vast unpopularity in Stormwind it is more likely for the Alliance to obtain a Warmongering Ruler that no one ever heard of!
The guy claiming Arathi Descent in the Scarlet Brotherhood could easily make a grab for power in Stormwind as the Arathi founded Stormwind. Add that to a conquest of Lordaeron using bogus claims of descent from Calia while she was alive and this Human could rule the Eastern Kingdoms!
Bonus points if someone tricks him into exposing his lie of being the rightful ruler of Lordaeron turning the Scarlet Brotherhood against him causing him to flee to Stormwind the only place he has legitimate claim to!

Horde tries to attack they leave a flank exposed. Alliance smashes that. Thus ensuring no retaliation from the horde. If horde comesâŚa front folds for them.

For the oil 
We arenât in shadowlands, the only reason the faction leaders are there is so they can have a reunion for plot devices. The Ebon Blade/âDeathâs Advanceâ is the force leading the shadowlands assault. The alliance and horde militaries basically have zero forces in it otherwise.
Oil requires live carbon base life forms decayed over milions of years. Given that shadowlands are full of dead incorporeal beings I doubt thereâs oil

Because, and I canât believe I have to explain this, Sylvanas betrayed us, Sylvanas took Baine AND Thrall, Sylvanas aligned herself with the Jailer, and the Jailer doesnât give a damn about Azeroth politics, he doesnât care if weâre Alliance or Horde, to him weâre just souls to power his takeover.
