I like the atmosphere of the undead starting zone, could be that the first toon I ever leveld was an undead lock, adding to my happy vibe there.
The one where I push the button and don’t have to level up again.
But Worgen was pretty cool back when it was new and actually worked.
I prefer the Vulpera starting experience. Start at level 10 in Orgrimmar. Nothing is needed to complete anything. Just play the game
Azuremyst Isle and Mulgoe. I tried the new one but I don’t like having the BFA styled questing progression in a starting zone so I don’t want to go back there again. I hated BFA questing as it was.
I also don’t fully like how there is an instanced dungeon at the end. It is cool now but down the road it makes me wonder if getting out of that zone will be more difficult if people are not leveling alts.
I’ve taken one alt through Exile’s Reach and that’ll do. I didn’t care for it.
(“No, I don’t need to equip that crap gear. BUGGER OFF, helpful hint.”)
Did OP just assume I was a veteran???
You can turn it off. Go into settings—>interface---->display and the button to click it off is on the right.
Exiles reach, almost full set of greens by level 10 for a new player (even a blue item if they get lucky in the tutorial dungeon).
Racial starting zone… First green rewarded at level 14 (almost 18 now, and still don’t have a semi full set of greens)…
New player ques for a dungeon or PvP at level 10 in all whites and greys, and finds themselves kicked by elitist players, I doubt will stick around long.
Wod if I want 50 asap. Anywhere else when I’m just killing time
Don’t forget bags, too.
True, rares on racial starting zones all seem to drop bags, and I was rewarded with an 8 slot along the way.
But you really have to go out of the way for some rares, unlike exiles, who hands you them all.
I am a legion baby, i like exile reach
Gnomes are pretty cool. Their start area almost resolves the Gnomeragan catastrophe. Almost…
Mekkatorque for the win, eventually I hope…
Exiles Reach is great and all, but it doesn’t really get you immersed into your race like the old starting zones do. New players won’t even get to experience such things on their first go around since they have to go in the previous expansions timeline.
Exiles Reach is faction narrative focus and I’m mixed on it.
