As a Sylvanas loyalist I need a way out of the Horde

Sounds like your experiencing the same exact discomfort and bad taste that every single person who felt Sylvanas was a bad fit for the Horde, or felt like the Horde’s story was replaced by the Forsaken’s “I’m Evil!” narrative has felt.

Now maybe you won’t in the future be so quick to use tired memes like “Sourfang”, “Alliance traitor”, or other such nomenclature. I doubt honestly that you can understand that, but one can hope that you do now that the shoe is on the other foot.

Your stuck with the Horde, unless Factions dissolve. Then you can go Alliance I guess? But it’s a very, very unlikely thing that Sylvanas is going to be your leader ever again. Not saying it as a troll move, but as a honest statement.

She’s gone the way of Varimathras and Zaela mate. If not an Encounter, then something will happen via a cinematic. What that is, I don’t know, but your best hope is that Nathanos returns down the road. Horde players do matter despite the over the top rhetoric Shaggyx used. The fact is, no one should of ever expected that Sylvanas would be anything but an unhinged and genocidal maniac.

I would of been shocked if she’d changed from that after years of character story into some massive rallying point for strong female leaders, because that’s not what Sylvanas Windrunner has ever has been. She’s always been a vain, insecure, angry person fueled by their hatred.

Even when she was alive, Sylvanas probably could of ran back to Silvermoon and gotten the forces needed to roflstomp Arthas (evidenced by the Runner Quest in Warcraft III). Instead she decided to play at cat-and-mouse with Arthas, and lost.

Every single faction related quest for seven years. Which is why I’m done with this faction conflict and want it to end.

You’re far more reasonable than a lot of the Loyalists on the forums, so I’ll concede that I should behave a bit more here. I just don’t see it because Blizzard isn’t going to let the villains of the game be playable. No different from my childhood dream of being part of Team Rocket being foiled again and again.

This is what personal RP is for.

But Sylvanas is becoming a primary Villain, and in WoW you play as the heroes of Azeroth. Everything else is headcannon.

Remind yourself that you are forsaken, remember your origins, You served in order to destroy the Lich King, and Sylvanas is quickly becoming a Lich king of her own.

Is this post sarcasm, or are you bein serious with this? or is this more GD roleplay as an elf?

As a die-hard Saurfang/Thrall loyalist I understand your plight. I felt so out if place with Sylvanas as Warchief. I’m glad we got our city and our Horde back, but I do hope the Sylvanas followers get a third faction…

They should honestly just make a few sub-factions such as, ‘The Cult of the Damned,’ where players can join them and have access to a sub-faction specific base, and some extra quests/storylines that are not available except to those within those factions. Keep their actual allegiances hidden. Treat it like the Eye of N’Zoth; give players a buff to recognize others from said faction.

Two factions already is causing issues. We don’t need a third faction.

Honestly imo, the story/lore is beyond broken at this point. Blizzard has truly dropped the ball.

Oh there’s no disagreeing here.

In my honest opinion, Blizzard needs a full restart. Take the old game and shove it into the Caverns of Time for access. Have most of the current cast retire and start with the ones they’ve made for Legion. Focus on their unique content rather than stuff from Warcraft III. It won’t be popular, but they need to find a new starting point and to focus on keeping things straight, and put this jumbled mess to rest.

You log off, and complain on the forums, while not logging back in till next content patch, to emulate being thrown in prison.
Continue after checking the new story progression till Sylvanas finally comes back for you, then you’re free again.

As a Night Elf, I want out of the Alliance.
They no longer serve the interests of my people and they wear weird clothes.

Forreal though, I expect Night Elves feel the same way.

Its causing issues because two factions can’t possible serve the interest of the player base if both factions need to be white knights.

Speak for yourself, i play this game to fight for the good. If you want to play the morally ambiguous faction, the Horde is waiting for you.

We don’t need two white knights.

We just don’t need one pretending to be “Morally Grey” while being outright genocidal maniacs hell bent on killing and enslaving everyone.

Blizzard tried to sell this expansion as “Morally Grey” from the start, and it literally went out the window before the Expansion even dropped.

More like they don’t serve the interest of the player base because most of the player base are not LARPers and just want to play the game, not be like “Oh, sucks that there are 3 RBGs in the LFG tool on Horde, guess I should move faction for the afternoon so I can PLAY THE GAME and then come back to horde at night when my Faction Locked, Server Locked Mythic Raid starts at 9 PM.”

More like ‘‘50 Shades of…’’.
