yeah it was concise and i read it, also i agree shadow priest owns in random bgs and contributes a lot. big damage, tons of utility, and only really dies to multiple melee trains
nothing better than being nearly dead and life swapping your useless 180k hp teammate because it’s percentage based as well

Well in a Random BG I would agree with you there. 180 sounds like a freshly boosted 120 or something or just a freshly hit 120. Out of general respect (and since I have over all given up on Shadowlands since it during into MoP and Cata pretty much with all the RNG and Legendary cloak). You get my perspective.

I mean spriest toolkit seems pretty much built for pvp just a little bit larger than arena
instant cc on 3 different DR: fear, stun, silence
cast cc mind control
spread pressure and dispel protection
leap of faith
life swap
haste steal
vampiric embrace
this kit seems perfect for “casual” bgs as far as playing a dps goes to maximize your impact on the bg itself. definitely not the best for trying to solo a node but that’s not a spriest’s role. if your goal is to win, playing something with high impact is the way to go and spriest definitely qualifies

u keep saying void. I hope u arent taking void torrent. that talent his literal a55 even when u build around it. Lingering is so good because u enter void form so fast. u double dip from the haste.
ST dmg is honestly fine inside of Void form which you should be in close to like 90% of combat time.
Spriest has the highest throughput damage in the entire game amongst 10 targets. More than destro and affliction.
Depends on the variables. if youre being slowed, goes with every caster, maybe even class aside from DH/Druid.
Greater fade + body and soul if your presence is required urgently.
Crazy sustain DPS doesn’t require any DPS CDs.
Sp also has 50% MS on a 45second cooldown also dealing % damage.
Like many other classes but doesn’t mean you can’t cast something else that’s useful during down time.

Spriest is extremely stat dependent. And vers is one of your worst stats.

Chorus is also a horrible Azerite talent, only take it if you’re forced into it by not having DT or SA

Sadly. For our shoulders. If we are going full rot. There is only 1 piece in entire game that has dt Nd Sa. On shoulders. So if ur aiming for a 480. Best save 20000. So I rock 1 chorus because it syncs nice with my 45 base crit Nd blood of enemy crit. Giving me high avg of 65 percent team fight crit. 80 percent with a boomy on team. U turn into reboot of ghost busters at that point

Even in little bgs I often see SPriests get into the top 5 spots on the bg charts. The spec is fine as far as random bgs go, the bg charts/numbers don’t lie.

This is just from a rated bg where no salt waters or anything go or heroism. And this was a shorter game 2 as they got mopped up fast. Spriests put out astronomical damage in rateds when left unchecked. In random bgs where u can use salt waters and heroism, they get even more disgusting

On mine who is 385 item level I simply stay in the back and just dot everyone, I average 8-10 million damage which is more than on my 470 BM Hunter. With that said Spriest is very team reliant means if team is bad you can’t do much at least that is the experience I have had so far on mine.

That’s from when I was around 460 ilvl. We have our role in BGs, and rotting the enemy team down is one of my favorite things to do.
And that was from yest. I upgraded alot of my gear today for few more percent of crit at the cost of 1 percent haste. Short match 2. Longer matches usually go to 35 to 40. And thing with priests is our dsmage only gets stronger the longer fight. So while most classes burst and get weaker. We just keep building more and more power. Think there was 1 game I got 52 mil to 20 was next highest.

Shadow priest is okay… You need a ton of Corruption to compete in the top end of stats. Put it this way… If A lock is Mike Tyson… A SP is Joe Glass.

Shadow Priest, is god tier minus S tier which is literally. Warlock, DH, Assassination Rogue, and literally every other class Blizzard needs to nerf but since the Dev’s play them that won’t happen.
