This is good advice. Forgot to mention the chests. Also the assaults when they are up reward 60 cp if you have warmode on.
Donât forget to do the Mechagon WQ each day. Those will get you oscillators that will be used to get you 420 rings and trinkets later on. Very low time commitment for reasonable pay off over time.
I donât know if itâs been said yet but âmythicâ warfronts will get you a random 430 piece as well. Theyâre easy enough and most groups wonât care much about your item level.
Once high enough, maybe like 400, could also try to put together a yolo rated bg group. You get 150 cp first win, then 100 per win after. You want to cap your cp at least once each week to loot the chest and the higher rating, the better ilvl you get from it.
As you see from the thread, lots of ways to get gear and the more you do the quicker you gain.
Seems like everyone already covered it but you must PVE to be successful at PVP now days.
1st thing you need to do is not exaggerate
2nd is . 90k health? What path did you take to level.
Benthic will upgrade you quickly and will be enough to do random BGS
Probably quests. I did the same on my Druid and was a little bit lower.
If the goal is random BGs, you can be viable just capping through the CP system as we are now at 430 ilvl gear, and Benthic gear. Once you hit 400, scaling is much better. You can do M+, but if youâre like me and donât enjoy it, you donât have to do it. Thatâs more for the hardcore rated pvpers pushing high rating.
There is value in capping conquest to get the weapon, trinkets and rings (since you canât get that via Benthic and those emissaries have been very rare - at least for Horde.)
However, you can easily cap conquest without having to set foot in a BG.
Speaking from personal experience. I was not able to contribute in a bg until I was at least 400 ivl. Iâd just melt if I try anything, peel for healers, etc. Rogue is prob the only thing that can help with lower ilvl due to the potential to sap cap, sap healers etc.
Iâve seen people complain about low geared players being dead weight in their teams and I can sympathize.
As suggested using benthic gear to boost ilvl to get better wq drops is ideal.
Also, wpvp is amazing for capping conquest if you donât like arena/rbg
Iâd do PvP islands and get all the weekly gear youâve missed because imo itâs the best way to get easy conquest the islands are 5-10 minutes top and your garuenteed conquest points win or lose 50 if you win usually around 20 per loss
Healers/casters with good positioning are decent even at low ilvl.
Mythic + and other PvEâŠduh lol
Almost all of the highest rated PVPers have 100% PVP gear.
I wouldnât say 100% but a good mix of pvp and M+ gear.
Donât count on BG gear at all. Do some world quests then hit Najatar for benthic. Then roll the world boss weekly and hopefully score a weapon. Do daily random BGs for available types for once a day conquest rewards and then run Mythics until you have about 425 Ilvl then hit arenas. If you get lucky you will get some forged world quest rings or trinkets along the way.
Great advice. Okay OP, just hop into arena and pick up your high item level gear.
/rolleyes
Just saying that one can gear a toon outside of M+ and Raids.

Just saying that one can gear a toon outside of M+ and Raids.
Just saying that doing benthic armor and then potentially mythics is going to be a far easier way for the OP to gear than trying to get a high rating in arena or rated BGs.
/rolling eyes super hard
BGs and Benthic is enough for a random BGâer to get gear.
Ever since they removed resilience gear the only way to get decent gear is by mythic raiding
If you are wanting a good boost in CP each week, do your AOO,25 kills mechagon/nazj, 10 kill CTA and join groups for the battle for nazj (pops every 3 hours).
