Maybe you missed the news, but master loot isn’t a thing anymore, and hasn’t been for over 2 years. It is complete rng if you even get gear, much less if it’s even good for you. That requires a higher drop rate. The only issue in bfa was that trivial world content gave rewards on par with normal raiding and some other trivial content gave rewards on par with heroic raiding.

Also, as to your reply above. Sales mean nothing if half the people stop playing a couple months in.
