Very debatable. Many runs are quiet ghost towns because people just want their roulette done and out of the way.
The only social ones were the stupid MSQ ones where they had literally 45 minutes of cutscenes.
Unskippable cutscenes.

Nah Osenna’s all good. You are a troll, however
I still have a ton of social experiences in FFXIV compared to WoW.
the MSQ roulette gave absurd rewards honestly. basically paying you to sit through that madness.
I’d be so hurt emotionally right now if I cared.
I don’t expect you to. Just calling you what you are
Would rather deal with players that don’t care and what to have fun over OMG MY LOOT TAKE MY MONEY
RDF doesn’t belong in classic.
I mean, I’ve had a ton of social experiences in all three games (retail, classic and FFXIV).
It’s what you make of it, if you don’t say hi and then complain about socializing in games, you’re part of the problem.
Exactly. RDF won’t affect socializing whatsoever. If it hurts your social experience, then you are the issue.
It’s gonna be hilarious when I come back to this thread and you’re referring to more people as “Lemon”. Keep up the good work!
not really, you are expected to have money, that does not keep the content alive. It’s on “life support” heck I wouldn’t even call it life support, it’s exploitation and promotes RMT.
I’ve been recruited into every single guild I’ve been in through dungeons. A lot of the people that my guilds have recruited have been through dungeons. How are you going to recruit people on another server for your guild? Dungeons are a decent test of skill in some cases, mainly heroics nowadays, but you can tell the competent players from the incompetent players pretty easily. RDF destroys this.
I remember a lot of socializing I’ve experience in that game is telling the healers to DPS as well, spam Holy if the tank is topped and promptly getting kicked before the final boss for it.
Or after P4N telling a ninja that Tier 9 materia should never be melded on your gear and that if he’s on a budget tier 8 materia is stronger and cheaper and being called a douche because “unsolicited advice is harassment”
Bois over there be soft as hell.
Funny thing, most competent players started off as incompetent players.
Only by actually creating relationships by forming groups, running/summoning to the dungeon did they become better players. RDF stops this from happening.
What is money good for? If you have dual spec (or don’t need dual spec if you’re a dps only class and happy with your spec) and have epic flying, what do you need money for?
Skills? Well, you’re capped so you have nothing to buy.
Epic Flying? If you already bought it, what do you use it on?
Professions? What if I’m already 375 in my craft or run double gatherer?
By that same logic, AH and BoE’s promote RMT, you can just buy your skills to 375, buy your gear to start raiding. etc.
It all just depends on the person to be honest.
Yes.
No.
RDF tokenizes the accomplishment and the struggle. You can’t deny this.
