It’s pretty obvious when you make the group yourself you tend to interact with the group a lot more, I found my classic guild doing ZF something like that would never happen in retail comparing classic to retail in this regard is night and day. Dungeons is the main way you interact with other people on your server RDF can not be all servers together like it is in retail the people you match with won’t matter at all the chances you’d see them again might as well be zero
