Tbh Fresh Servers were going to fail from the start, along with how they maintained servers it looks like they had to do a lot of transfers, locks and moving people around last minute.
They had to go back on that decision out of a purely technical standpoint, RDF is different. It changes the entire game negatively, they would never bring it back in as that will cause a LOT of people to unsub.
You’d be surprised, some of these forum posters can be crazy. Not trying to have them know my guild name or who I am and harass the people who I play with because I beat them in a forum debate.

There’s a plethora of reasons why RDF degrades social interactions that are the very core of what an MMO should be and yet you guys think because you want to be lazy everyone should understand.
YOU have a choice, talk to people, or play something offline.
You have this illusion that because people post a lot that it represents the majority of the target demographic they’re considering. This isn’t the case.

Ah, this nonsense again. RDF doesn’t degrade social interactions. People don’t always want to talk to other people, which is totally fine. You’re not entitled to having people talk to you. Just because some people need to socialize for whatever reasons that doesn’t mean everyone else has the same desperate need. And neither is wrong. Besides, most people hardly say anything, let alone anything worthwhile.
When RDF was implemented, I literally had the exact same conversations. Perhaps you’re not that social as you’d like to believe.
Just maybe it has something to do with people having done the same content over and over again and just want to get it done.
There’s also not much difference between listing yourself in lfg, getting added and summoned and RDF.
