Its a pretty easy pattern to figure out with them. Here it is:

Stage 1 - Announce project, act like its the big thing, more info to come!

Stage 2 - About a month before project drops appear on all friendly pod casts, streams, and youtube channels to generate hype. Here are the changes we are making. We hear you. It will be different this time. We are “all in”.

Stage 3 - Launch happens, show the flag, see guys its different.

Stage 4 - New project announced, pervious project no longer exists as far as they are concerned.

Stage 5 - About a month before new project drops appear on all friendly pod casts, streams, and youtube channels to generate hype. Here are the changes we are making. We hear you. It will be different this time. We are “all in”. The last project is still on our minds. I know it doesn’t look that way. More to come!

Stage 6 - New project launch happens, show the flag, see guys its different!

Now you just repeat stage 4 to 6 over and over. Watch the sheep jump around swiping project to project because it will be different this time guys. I guess this time they decided to just make a show instead of go onto channels and such. Probably because they saw money going to other pockets and not theirs for views or whatever.

I’m not in the habit of bashing Blizz, but I have to admit this is disturbingly accurate.

Mate stop hating on player and guilds its dumb as fk. Arugul is a graveyard and it’s pointless to play on. Free transfers would have kept me in MoP probably even with the crap latency. Attacking people cause they wanna go somewhere more populated is trolling.

Christ, literacy is not a strong point here is it. I don’t care if they open free transfers, I’m all for it. I’ve already stated this. If people want to play on a more populated server they should be free to do so (and again, you literally can right now)

What I don’t want is to wake up to find myself playing on 180 ping because they just lumped Arugal into the US megaserver. Like this thread asks for. Free transfers ala Yojamba/Remulos? Fantastic. Brilliant. Well done Blizzard. Everyone’s happy. In all honesty if they do anything about the situation this is what they’ll do, like what happened for SoD/Anniversary - and that’s fine.

I would absolutely disagree. I play a mage, and I have tried playing on some of the other U.S. servers as a mage - and let me tell you, it may say 180ms or 340ms ping, but when you hit fireball, and can go take your daily poop before it starts casting, those numbers lie. Especially when there is constant spikes. - Cercei
