That may be true, but Shadow Priests lost their artifact entirely. Xal’atath has been freed, the blade used to defeat N’Zoth, and now we have no idea where it is, if it was destroyed, or if it even exists anymore

Just get rid of the other hoarder items you’re keeping in your bank(s) from far older expansions than Legion. Easy.
Only things in my banks are mats for crafting and selling.
Well, except for my warlock… she has a skull collection in her bank but we don’t talk about that

The artifact weapons from Legion, ie. Scythe of Elune for druids or Doomhammer for shamans.
At the rate our power grows we’ll be able to afk kill titans with fishing rods equipped.
It seems odd to me that anybody would not want to keep things like that as trophies. My mage has the legendary cloak from MoP, the legendary ring from WoD, all three artifacts from Legion, and is working on his Heart of Azeroth. I have tons of free space in my bank for these trophies.
Methinks you’ve never tried to delete your Legion artifacts. I have, many times. No dice.
They should add a Trophies section in the back to put these things without taking any actual space

I just throw em in the bank. You still need them to unlock some of the skins anyway, so. Good for re-doing old content.
The whole point to a bank is to put stuff away that you normally wouldn’t carry around anymore. Just go toss them in there and forget about them. Artifacts aren’t going to be making a return. There’s no way the story could somehow justify it, especially considering how certain ones have popped up out of the blue like Xal’atath and the shaman one.

What if there was a “ritual” questline dedicated to getting rid of the artifact weapons, by giving them a respectful send-off inside of a museum casket?
Or maybe we could pick who to donate our weapon to. I know I’d give my Ashbringer only to the Explorers’ League. It intrigued me to know that they knew about Frostmourne before anyone.

I think it would be cool if you could set the Artifacts in special shrines in the class hall. With the launch of Shadowlands, they could add this to the Heart Forge and the Horrific Vision gate, placing the heart back atop the forge, and draping the cloak over the gate in memory of what has passed. Most likely going to sit in the fourth and fifth bank slot, with my legion weapons though.
Can you put them in void storage? I have my legion legendaries in there… not sure if I threw artifacts in or even if I can
Expansions later, we’ll just get 08_fawn_deer of the current expansion to stomp him flat.
Throw them in a bag in your bank, or in Void storage.
I prefer 2 Ash 2 Bringer.
