Gul’dan being killed during the Second War didn’t stop him from driving the plots of WoD and Legion along with being the end boss of Nighthold.

Exactly, and our societal push (mostly due to the media) has cultivated a dangerous community notion. Not everyone can be saved, not everyone wants to be saved.

That needs a depiction more often, I still remember watching a show where a friend thought they could save the protagonist (And antagonist) and bring them back to the light, only for it to end with the friend getting killed by said main character. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to reach people.

Though I always find psychology fascinating and will dive head first into any discussion about it. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in particular has been instrumental in my recovery and understanding of how the mind works.

I would love an Arthas redemption story. But, if he doubles down on being evil, that could be really fun. Either way, we need interesting enemies that are more than bags of loot.
Its kinda funny. I actually think we will get Lich Queen Jaina when she decides to stay with Arthas in the Maw.
