And a bump to bring us to the top! This week in World of Warcraft we ran Mythics together on Tuesday, had an Officer’s Meeting last night and we were supposed to visit the Darkmoon Faire but I fell asleep instead, so we’ll look at another night for DMF.

Tonight we’ll run Heroics and M0 to help people get geared up starting around 7:30 PM.

Sunday at 5:30 PM Lady Dione will be having her evening Vespers service, behind the Cathedral in Stormwind City at the little gazebo area.

Tuesday the realm has been invited to a Beatific Banquet in Ashran, and we have a handful of people who are excited to attend. This is a community event put on by another guild!

And then next week Thursday we have our first December In Character Guild Meeting of the month, followed by our Beginner’s RP Class!

And NEXT Saturday begins Winter Veil in game!

Just another bump to let people know we are here and still recruiting!

Winter Veil is upon us, and The Court of Lions celebrated on Thursday with a little gift-giving exchange! Everyone brought along two gifts to the Golden Keg tavern in Stormwind’s Dwarven District and we exchanged until everybody had 2 random gifts! I of course had a few things to give out to everyone too.

Christmas eve is tomorrow night, so I hope everyone who celebrates has a wonderful and safe holiday! And happy holidays and happy new year to everybody!

A bump to bring us back to the top! We’re still here and still open to recruitment!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Winter Veil! And hope everyone who celebrates the Holidays has a very good one this year! And speaking of…it’s almost a NEW YEAR!

Tonight we have an In Character RP Guild Meeting at our headquarters Westbrook Garrison in Elwynn Forest. Tonight we’ll announce the winner of the guild bank gold drive this year, and they will take home a Minion of Grumpus mount!

Next year 2024 we’ll be bringing back our Azeroth’s AMAZING RACE! We’ll race across Azeroth either alone or part of a duo towards 100,000 Gold! This is an arduous race, so it will take ALL year, with one event per month across Continents and Zones! Monthly themes and prizes and gold giveaways to winners and participants!

The Court of Lions is still open for recruitment! We have a wide variety of ages within the guild, teens and grandparents alike, though we are all mostly adults with jobs and kids and the like.

Our one main rule is don’t be a jerk/troll/drama llama, and we have 0 tolerance for Bullies and Bigots. We are accepting of everyone!

We accept anyone from beginners to old Veterans, even those who are brand new to Roleplay! We hold at least 1 Beginners RP Class a month, specifcally for those who wish to learn!

First post of the year!

The Court of Lions is still open for recruitment, from the very beginner to the game and/or Roleplay right along with old veterans that have been Roleplaying longer than some of us have been alive.

So far this year, we’ve had our Roleplay 101 class, under 60 dungeon runs, and Guild/Garrison Roleplay.

Tomorrow we have Littles Night, especially for our lowbies.

And we have a new Quillson Quest up on the in-game calendar for any guildies who wish to aide him in his efforts! Open to any guildies who can gather all the items he requests for a sum of 10,000 Gold. He runs a different Quillson Quest every month!

Wednesday we’ll be running normal Dragonflight Dungeons, and Thursday is our Officers meeting followed by our Guild Garrison Meeting!

Just another post to bring us back to the top!

This week in World of Warcraft we had our Sunday evening Vespers and Prayer service last night at 5:30 PM Realm time, hosted by the Lady of the Light Dione. Word seems to have gotten out about her monthly services and there were a good amount of people and passer bys in attendance.

Tonight Rethelle will be hosting a Recruitment drive, In Character outside the Stormwind City Cathedral tonight around 6:00 PM Realm Time. Those in attendance will be in their guild Colors and Regalia.

TOMORROW IS PATCH DAY!!! And a long day down for maintenance, so chances are we’ll be busy with IRL and other games for a while tomorrow!

Wednesday we’ll be running Normal/Leveling Dragonflight dungeons together as a guild group! Grouping up and hitting some normal dungeons for fun, and for credit toward the weekly guild challenges!

And this Thursday is our Azeroths AMAZING RACE! We’ll be inviting more and more people to this event as the months go by! This is a monthly event, and by the end we will have raced each major continent all across Azeroth! This month our allies from the guild Elysians will be joining us for our first race of the year from the Entrance to the Ruins of Silvermoon City in Eversong Woods (way 46.50) down to the Docks of Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale (way 39.67)! First one there wins 10,000 Gold and a variety of Rare and/or level 25 Pets. 2nd and 3rd place win a couple rare or level 25 pets too! EVERYONE who attends will receive themed pets and goodies!

Bumping this post because we’ve got some seriously great people in the guild. We have all sorts of interests and try to whet everyone’s appetite for content, and the officer corps is super solid, starting with our GM (Barbro!). If you like RP, socializing, or running content in a very chill environment with great people, get in touch!

This week in Warcraft we had Normal Dragonflight dungeons last night, we group up together as a guild group and run dungeons!

Tonight we have our In Character Guild Meeting at our HQ Westbrook Garrison! This is the one place we give out promotions within the guild. We get together in a formation in our upstairs meeting hall to receive news and information, learn about upcoming events and gatherings, and again promotions.

We give out promotions within the guild based on your general activity, being online, talking in guild chat, helping out when others ask, running dungeons together, attending events, and just being a member in good standing!

Tomorrow we are hosting a Dragonflying Race in Pandaria’s Jade Forest, hosted by our own Miadarrah! She’s been planning this one for a while, and she’s got lots of awesome prizes for this bracket style race!

Saturday we have our RP Tavern/Fireside Social in Upton Buroughs in Boralus, round about 57,64 if you have coordinates starting at 7:00 PM. We’ll be getting together once again with our closest Allied friends from Wyrmrest Accord, and they will probably pull US on realm, so if you would like an invite, ask!

Sunday we have a fun game of Hide and Seek planned!

And! NEXT Thursday is our February AMAZING RACE Across Azeroth! This month we’ll race acoss Kalimdor, from the Inn in Nighthaven, Moonglade to the Southernmost Point of Uldum near Neserfet coordinates 46,89! This is a GROUND MOUNT ONLY race, or footrace if you prefer the lonnnnnnnnng way, but no flying allowed. The first one to the Finish Line takes home 10,000 Gold! EVERYONE who attends receives themed pets and prizes!

This month:
Theme: Love is in the Air! Dress in your most romantic outfit, carry flowers!
Mount/Pets: Use a RED mount and RED flying pets!
Bonus Objective: /kiss, /hug, or /love someone in each zone!

Wednesday we’ll be running Normal Dragonflight dungeons together as a guild group. Depending how many people are wanting to run, we might end up doing more than 1 group, and might even have Heroic or Mythics or even M+.

This week in WoW we had a lovely Vespers Prayer Service held at 5:30 Sunday evening at the small gazebo/outdoor area behind the Storwind City Cathedral. Hosted by Lady Dione, its prayers and praise to the light, and she even sings. Last month we had a great turnout with a number of passerbys, this month was just us guildies.

Tonight when servers are back up we’ll be running at least Normal, probably Heroic Dragonflight Dungeons together as a guildie group. It changes weekly depending on what people want to run, maybe even Mythics.

Thursday this week we have our AMAZING RACE! This month we are racing from the Black Temple in Burning Crusade’s Shadowmoon Valley to Cosmowrench in Netherstorm. It’s ground mount or foot race ONLY, swimming falling running dashing etc are all acceptable means as well. First one there wins 10,000 Gold! And EVERYONE who attends gets pets and prizes!

This week in WoW we have Dragonflight Dungeon night tomorrow night starting at 6:00 PM Realm time. We’ll get together again in a guild group and run some Dragonflight dungeons, difficulty depending on who wants to go and where! Normally we run on normal and roll through, sometimes we go Heroic or even Mythic(+) depending on what the crowd wants that night.

We still have a Quillson Quest underway this month. He’s hosting a number of people this month and won’t be ableto cook for himself and everyone, so he’s asking for a number of different feasts to make this month easier for him. You’ll be rewarded handsomly with 10,000 Gold for your time.

We are less than a month away from celebrating our 15th year anniversary as a guild, established 5/16/2009!

This year we’re looking at the following Saturday the 18th for our Grand Anniversary Gala, with more details to be announced. We’ll also include a formal invitation on the forums as well, for any and all of our friends and allies!

It’s always a formal event, so dress attire is apropriate, as are dress uniforms. Planning is still underway, but maybe this year we could branch out a little and have some help with hosting our event. I might have an eye out for another guild or organisation to do bartending/waitstaff/music.
It IS 15 years, it’s kinda a big deal.

This week in WoW we have our In Character guild meeting on Thursday at 6:25 PM. We’ll gather at our Headquarters of Westbrook Garrison in the upstairs meeting hall for news, announcements, and of course promotions!

We’ll be announcing our Planning Party, this Saturday at 6:00 PM also at Westbrook Garrison, to plan and prepare for our upcoming FIFTEENTH anniversary ball!!!

Yes you read that right, as of 5/16/24 we will be a 15 year old guild. We will celebrate on Saturday the 18th starting at 6:00 PM Realm Time with a grand Ball!

Last night’s 15th Anniversary Ball was a HIT! It went great, we had a wonderful turnout from Friends and Allies and the general Moon Guard community! We even got a new recruit out of it! Definitely a success!

We gave away a variety of 15 nice mounts for our 15 years, and we gave away 150,000 Gold to one lucky winner!

And we finished the night with a grand Fireworks Display off our Headquarters of Westbrook Garrison’s Rooftop!
A good time was had by all!

It has been an eventful time for us, what with our FIFTEENTH Annivesary Ball the other weekend among other things!

I’m proud to announce that we have BOTH a New Co-GM and a new Officer in our ranks: Rethelle has been promoted to take on the role of a Co-Gm, and Acereporter has been promoted to Officer of the guild!

We still have our eyes and ears open for another possible promotion to Officer, as well. So stay tuned!

Just a note that most of us are adults with jobs and kids, so we aren’t the MOST active during the daytime hours when people are at said jobs and dealing with kids irl. Our events tend to run between 5 and 9 PM, right now mostly on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Our events are generally Social Themed, and are more on the Light end. We do: walk up tavern style RP nights, In Character guild meetings, RP Classes, Recruitment Drives, Dungeon nights, just for fun games like Freeze and our AMAZING RACE, plus celebrate all major in-game holidays along with our Anniversary Ball every year.

Another bump to bring us back to the top!

People have been enjoying Mists of Pandaria Remix, and we have plenty of alts in the guild.

Speaking of alts, we do allow Horde members in the guild, but In Character they are not considered members unless they have sworn allegiance to The Alliance. Just for our own RP and purposes.

But yes! Horde are welcome in the guild, both on retail and your MoP Remix alts!

Generally our rule of thumb is once you’re off your temporary probation (which lasts a couple days to a week, depending on activity) then you can invite whatever alts you want, horde or whatever!

If you’re interested, find any one of us in game for an invite or more information!

This week in game we have our PvE Dungeon night TONIGHT at 7:00 PM Realm Time, and though we aim for Mythic, sometimes we wind up doing Normal or Heroic instead. It really depends on who we have online at the time!

Our next In Character RP Guild Meeting is this Friday at 8:25 PM Realm Time, we’re trying out a new day/time so hopefully more people are able to attend.

Following the guild meeting we have an In Character RP to the Darkmoon Faire! Around 9:30 PM Realm Time we’ll meet up at the (inside) Entrance and do all the Faire things! Eat, drink, play games, see the shows, probably kill Moonfang and see if the Darkmoon Rabbit is up, too. Don’t forget your tickets!

This is the last week we’ll be running Dungeons on Wednesday nights, it seems Tuesdays are better for us. So going forward we’ll be running our Dragonflight dungeon groups Tuesday! We get together as a guild group and run what ever level Dragonflight dungeons we have enough people for. Sometimes we stick to Normal dungeons, usually go for at least random Heroics.

Also changing days are our Bi-Weekly In Character Guild meetings. We’ve tried it all, Sunday, Fridays, Thursdays, and now we are going BACK to Wednesdays but at 6:25 PM, I am thinking this will accommodate more folks to attend! Our meetings are where we deliver In Character news, Announcements, and it’s the 1 place we give out promotions within the guild.
Starting this month, we have some news that’ll REALLY sweeten the pot…in this case, pot of GOLD!

Lady Dione will host her Monthly Evening Vespers service on the 21st at 5:30 PM behind the Stormwind City Cathedral in the outdoor pavilion. The general public is welcomed to attend, and she usually advertises in Trade/General chat the evening of to allow for visitors! Everyone is welcome!

We also have a new Quillson’s Quest up for the month! Guildies may send the necessary items along to Quillson himself for…research…in exchange for a generous sum of gold!

We try and do something with guildies at least every week, right now those days tend to fall on Wednesdays and Tuesdays.

This week in World of Warcraft we have our next In Character RP Guild Meeting TONIGHT at 6:25 PM at our Headquarters of Westbrook Garrison in Elwynn Forest. We’ll amass in the grand meeting hall on the the 2nd floor for news, announcements, and of course promotions!

Promotions within guild are given based mainly on your activity. We like to see active members who contribute to guild chat, attend our various events, enjoy running content together, helping one another with professions, and just being a good active guild member in general.

Saturday morning at 10:00 AM our own AceReporter will host a Good Morning Valdrakken! Acereporter keeps us updated with what is happening in the news in World of Warcraft! So many people enjoy these fun reports, I know I do!

Sunday night at 8:00 PM Realm Time we’ll get together at the Salty Sailor Tavern in Stranglethorn Vale’s Booty Bay! This is a neutral, cross-faction friendly event, and we are considering inviting the general public!

I haven’t seen much Roleplay down at the Salty Sailor Tavern myself, as I have an alt parked at the inn and check periodically. I think the realm is missing out, and would like to start up this every other week event.

There is also a Quillson’s Quest up for the month of July, as Quillson is up to his regular antics. This month he needs THIRTY different kinds of fishes!

We have plenty of folks left on our old realm Earthen Ring that I am hoping to see make their way over to the main guild on Moon Guard!
It’s as easy as ever to join us now. From whatever realm you are on, you can now search “Court of Lions” in the guild finder, make sure to check RP, and we should pop up! Feel free to apply!

We’ve created a new poll very recently to figure out what Day/Time works best for everyone to get together for some Guild activities. It’s still early, but so far it’s looking like Saturday, then Friday, and Sunday as the most popular days. And people overwhelmingly want to play in the early evening, between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with some people wanting later evening 7:00 PM and later. Dungeons, Raiding, and “Just for Fun” RP events are what scores highest for interest right now too, along with our Guild Meetings!

Plenty of changes happening in game, and we’re all excited about the new Warband/War Within updates from pre patch!
