Arms spec bonuses

As stated in the blue post, Blizzard will address the tuning and you should only vote on what one you enjoy the most.

That’s just a tuning issue.

And arms aoe is legit good frankly speaking.

It’s good to see that some have so much faith in Blizzard correctly addressing tuning…

It really shouldn’t take 2 tiers of the same tier bonus to correctly tune the class…there was obviously a lack of tuning done to arms warriors this tier and you’re simply giving Blizzard another chance to correct their neglect.

I mean blizzard has done a pretty solid job with tuning this expansion. The intervals of when they do the tuning is really based off of two things.

1.) Is there a .5 patch about to be released? Often many classes had reworks during .5 patches, that needed adjustments or weren’t hitting the mark shortly after that patch was released. Thats not the case with 10.2.5, due to no major class changes occurring, but it was the case for 10.0.5 and 10.1.5.

2.) The bigger more relevant one is that Hall of Fame (First 200 guilds to get CE), isn’t closed yet. Earlier this week we just hit 97 guilds, not even 50% complete. If you look at Abberus (10.1.0’s raid), a week after Hall of Fame closed, there were tuning adjustments to many classes. While I don’t think that Blizzard should wait until Hall of Fame closes to make tuning adjustments (Why worry about a little bit of feel bads for a very very small portion for the community?) It would be in line with what was done for previous seasons in dragonflight.

TBH, its not even that Arms is super bad. Its just that Fury has a better damage profile for the raid, and our tuning is a bit under where it needs to be Single Target. (Also Fury has like 4k+ More Stamina than Arms, and that makes a big difference on fights like Mythic Smolderon for making a mistake).

no s3 arms pls… s1 best arms…the dot is bad and so is the proc just make s3 arms a pvp set that so it can only be used for pvp if the pvpers is why they are voting

Personally I do like S3 tier set but i believe Sudden Death needs to proc more, ether I’m unlucky or something but i rarely see it proc.

S3. Rend go brrr

dont even troll with that bullsh1t., they need to abandon this thunderclap bullsh1t. thats the prot class fantasy. Arms should be a blademaster with sudden death procing off melee swing. Similar to dance of chi-ji procs for windwalker. This bleed fantasy is awful, leave that to the assassins and feral fffs

Im sorry you feel that way but I’m pretty sure bleeds have been a part of warrior’s kit since vanilla lol. Spending less gcd’s to get your bleeds up also equals more multitarget damage because you can actually swing your dang sword instead of stomping around like your name is frickin Happy Feet. I dont like the playstyle of constantly refreshing bleeds either, which is how feral and assa play, and season 3 tier makes that less of a thing thanks to sudden death refreshes. I’d like it if thunderclap+rend also had the hard aoe cap removed and replaced with a soft aoe cap so we waste even less time throwing out dots and rend just instantly goes on everyone. Leave that micromanagement gameplay to specs who dont get punished so hard for wasting a gcd and whose class fantasy doesnt involve actively swinging a big sword.

RIP, because of EU we got stuck with S1 set and Fury got the worst set bonus too.

So you mean we should be thanking EU for voting for the most consistent and least RNG focused Tier Bonus that provides the most flexibility in playstyle/talents.

By forcing us to talent into Cleave even for single target…

S2 and S3 are far better and more fun to play with.

So happy all the pve’rs picked the worst and most boring set imaginable lol.

Should of known you would be part of the problem…

Let’s touch on “Build Flexibility”

S3’s “build flexibility” is the exact same as S1’s believe it or not, you can still run the exact same talent builds, nothing is stopping you from running cleave currently and losing a little single target as a result. Nothing’s stopping you from running a Bladestorm build, nothing is stopping you from running a full single target/cleave build either.

If anything S3’s the most flexible of the two as it can build for AoE without losing all too much Single Target, whereas S1’s more susceptible to losing more when speccing for the other option.

But alas, we’ve had multi voters and spite voters run rampant, and looking at the voting numbers either they cant be claimed as the majority since there were many people who didn’t even vote in these polls.

S4’s looking like a mediocre season gameplay wise sans any aura buffs to prop up Arms in PvE. But the halfwits will just say it’s the tier set that makes it throughput as the cause, and not an aura buff.

So bake it into a harder hitting Cleave. I don’t understand how it’s been such an iconic ability since the Saurfang memes in Vanilla yet it’s almost always been next to useless smh.

Yeah I have no answer for you there, I would like a world where I can take both cleave and whirlwind talents and have them both feel nice to press. And it’s not that unreasonable of an ask considering how lackluster our aoe can be outside of sweeping strikes+burst. Thunderclap+rend tier doesn’t fully fix that issue, all it does is help with uptime.

If this was any other class blizzard woulda gave them a stacking buff and wouldn’t bat an eye. aka DH Tierset.

I was making a point that the spec is flawed fundamentally so just pick the best numerical set cause god knows they wont be tuning the sets properly.
