In the pet journal the Armored Vaultbot, ( that looks like a walking safe ) is being represented by a red walking robot pet that I suspect is a store pet.
Summoning the Vaultbot summons the correct pet. just a display thing in the journal.
Renamed my vaultbot “Gnomer Jail” and haven’t tested to see if it still happens with the default name. But if that’s the case then the bug is naming something Gnomer jail
It does, I just checked, my journal is showing the same cute little robot in the UI.
That is so weird, but you’re absolutely correct.
In the battle pet UI, the Armored Vault Bot looks like Rascal-Bot. It summons just fine, however, and Rascal-Bot still looks like itself in both the UI and after being summoned.
This is without any name changes and a completely reset UI.

It’s the bad robot bot, Jar Jar Abrams production company, Maybe the vault bot is a mystery box and this is really a joke.
If it’s an intentional joke, it’s a new one because I’ve had both these pets for quite a while and I’ve never seen this before.
Noticed something else with this.
When I was fighting with my vaultbot, at the end of winning a fight with it, it changed over to the bad robot model as the fight scene faded away.
