I completed the quest to raise 6 of my followers to ilvl 900, then went back to Krokuun and got the quest to do a mission. Back to the mission table, the mission was not in my list of available missions. Now I see the quest is not in my quest log. I went back to the questgiver, and he has no quests for me.
