Hi, sorry for this question – I know it might seem trivial – but what do “+10, +11 etc.” mean in the group search? I’m actually looking to join my first Mythic raid, as I’ve never done one before, but I keep seeing these abbreviations and I’m not sure where I should apply. Can anyone help me?
Those are for Mythic dungeons. The higher the number the harder the dungeon. If you’re just starting out, you will want to be in M0 mythics. When you beat one you’ll get a key for a +2, if you beat the timer for the +2 your key upgrades.
For raids, there is only one Mythic mode, no +’s. For those you’ll want to be well versed in the heroic version of the raid, and the differences that come with Mythic.
For both, you’ll want to have your gear fully upgraded/gemmed/enchanted. You’ll also want to make sure you have potions/flasks/food.
People doing M+ are not what I would call social, welcoming, tolerant, patient, ready to help, and happy to see you.
M+ is a treadmill, and people have to keep doing them again and again and again and again and again … to Keep Up With The Joneses. And a lot of the time, a lot of them are not enjoying it. And they are ready to take that frustration out on people who Do The Wrong Thing in dungeons. Think of it like rush-hour traffic with a bunch of tired and aggravated drivers.
So, while a lot of people do enjoy M+ in general, and I hope you will be one of them, groups do expect you to hold up your end.
I suggest running Heroic dungeons in the queue until you know them backwards to prepare for Mythics.
Watching YouTubes of the dungeons - just search for the dungeon names - might also help.
I also suggest joining a community / Discord to do your first M+ dungeons with.

I wouldn’t have been surprised if it were the case, especially as I’m coming from a time (BC/WotLK) when people used to say ‘gg’ when they levelled up, which isn’t the case anymore hhh, so I was expecting to see a bit of rudness in social interaction at this point of the game, anyway i’ll fo MA BEST
