Ok… 3rd year trying, 44th run of the year, 6th run of the day (main and 5 alts)… I got Arfus. Don’t give up hope. Good luck to all those still trying.

well… I’ve been in ALL of these threads trying to reel in the misinformation, and you’re the first person I’ve seen mention it.
I wouldn’t call intentionally seeking misinformation as “doing research”.

honestly though, unless it’s come from the pet battle forum, i have no idea where they got this weird idea.
i haven’t seen anyone in GD claim that Arfus is a “first run of the day” thing.
i’ve seen a bunch of people SAYING they got it on the first run of the day, which isn’t unusual, because first pumpkin is by default the “most loaded”.
that doesn’t mean it’s the ONLY time it can drop

it’s weird how so much is account-wide, but faction can make a 3k difference.
there’s probably a bunch of easy points you can grab.
i’m about to start farming some legacy mythic sets, so i might get a little slow-creep with the 5 points for each set

Ive never heard Arfus was on the “first run only” restriction. I got him last year on an alt run.

RNG sucks - took years to get HH mount, still no new mount (for any of the events), but I’ve gotten Arfus like three days in a row (all curses).

Because I got it on an alt too but it was the 5 first-day boxes cheese, where I solo’d the HHM.
(In case someone is wondering what I’m talking about… you create or use 4 starter accounts to queue by yourself. If you have the gear, my BM Hunter was only 695 and I killed him with all curses up. Anyways, you make 4 level 10s: 2 dps, 1 healer, 1 tank. Open all the pumpkins without logging off. Window mode.)

an “alt” is just a character which isn’t a main.
it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t the first character to obtain a pumpkin after reset.
