Arfus/Mount first run only, right?

Just making sure. Ran all my chars before reset so I could get the armor set. But couldnt remember if they could still drop to see if I just run it 1x a day.

If I am reading it correctly, you can get him on subsequent characters but the drop rate is much lower than the already ridiculous one. Year 3 for me, still no Arfus so far.

That’s what i did too. Ran them all before reset and only needed 2 more pieces after to complete it.

I got the sword, the helm (new), Arfus, and the original Horseman mount (already had it) on my first run Saturday. The rest of the runs have just been armor.

Hope y’all get lucky with your drops! If nothing else, do it like I do it and don’t pay attention to what new stuff becomes available to collect! That way you get happily surprised when suddenly there’s an Arfus in your bags.

Make sure to grab the four wicker curses, especially since the boss pretty much just flops over now.

Assuming it’s the same as last year, no. I got Arfus on my 30th character (a level 10 auction house alt) of the day last year.

Yes, that is correct. Each run was on a different character though, and this alt like most of them was a level 10 allied race resto shaman.

got the new mount and arfus 1 day apart from each other… at like 20 years and still no original HH mount tho

I had the old HH Mount from years ago but started running it again when they added Arfus. One new Mount this year and two more of the old Mount, still no ghostly boy. I’m running it on multiple chars just in case.

Edit due to spellcheck doing it’s thang.

Not sure where you got the idea that Arfus was a “first run only” thing.

First run only applies to the new mount.

I feel like Blizz added Arfus to be the new thing to farm for 17 years.

The new mount is only available on the first drop for the first character. The old mount still has a drop chance for every character for every first run after that. it should be the same with the pet since the pet is an old item and not a new one.

I got the mount yesterday using the 5 account method. It was in one of my level 10’s pumpkins.

I could solo the HHM with all curses up as a 695 BM Hunter.
