I wish they would get rid of ALL Esports in this game. It really was WoW’s downfall because they started to focus on that instead of actually making a good game for the players.
My mind and body is ready for New World. That should be an interesting adventure where I can theorycraft and tinker with some PvP builds. A lot of PvPers seem to like Lost Arc but I’m still a big ole open world kinda guy.
I think Arena players will like Lost Arc and BG players will like New World but the fact is they won’t be here. Not until Blizz knocks off this rating requirement on gear nonsense.

If 9.1.5 rolls around without a fix and then they’re like “we’ve heard your feedback loud and clear, 9.2 will bring 1 honor 1 conquest set for PvP” I’m gonna develop psychosis

I also think it’s weird some alt account liked the thread. Probably a Dev trying to break the 1 like threshold hoping that more ppl will like it. However we don’t. Hope they cancel the AWC and just work on making the game good. This game could of been so much more especially in PvP and Esports ruined that.

I mean like, I’m gonna watch the AWC, I enjoy it a lot despite the mishap that occured during the last one. It’s awesome watching peak performance for content you love.
I personally generally stop ranking at 1800 cause at that point the iLvl gap is only 10 iLvls, so I’m able to outplay people higher than me at that point. I don’t enjoy rated, I just wanna do battlegrounds all day and farm my achivements. Even though I’ll never pursue 2400 there’s still a lot to learn by watching these players perform.
Also not gonna punish the players either, they worked extremely hard to get into these tournaments, and a lot of the glads and r1 players support the 1 honor set 1 conquest set movement.
I’m just upset that there’s a 600+ megathread on PTR sub of people just begging for any type of comment from Blizzard at all, meanwhile they bluepost an event for PvP on the same forums.

lol are you stuck in the past? do you need someone to come save you? 20-40 min matches? most matches now are less than 5 minutes. you’ll never see a match go past 10 mins in this meta unless it’s somehow stuck with 2 healers in a 1v1.
Can we get Joe Rogan to do AWC commentary this year?

Yeah, but the current gearing system for PvP is creating an anima drought.
All new PvP players that go into battlegrounds and arena with their full honor set get sent to the Maw instead.
What amuses me the most about this competition is that there are fewer people watching it than those who see Asmongold or RichCambell on Twitch XD
Same with MDI, streamer doing transmod runs can pull more the MDI/AWC but just a few years ago 70-80% of wow streamers was doing some form of PVP
Came here for the comments, was not disappointed.
Blizz should really try engaging with the pvp community for once

Not like SL. I think it was Stoopz who said “There hasn’t been a system that allows for this type of gap before” ahead of the SL launch, and he continues to be correct.
