Im confused. Are you in favor of 10 points per win, 0 per loss? Because the points you are making are staunchly counter to it.
I’m in favor to it personally. It’s fair at this point because of the abundance of boosting taking place. If anyone has an issue with being overly competitive then they can just play arena in classic wrath coming out.
And it’s a completely valid point to disagree with people who wish to keep the point system the same. Why should it matter to you if someone with lesser skill has the same 2100 gear as you do? You should still be able to beat them with ease.
So I repeat, I am in favor of this post, and anyone who disagrees with it probably have a superiority complex
People who are against it are people who don’t have the time to invest and people who don’t want Rank 1 to simply becomr a fight of who can queue more.
As a general rule of thumb, making rewards simply a matter of time investment rather than a matter of skill/capability/competence has always been immensely to the detriment of a game.
If blizzard cared about skill / capability they would prioritize putting an end to boosting services. This being said, Blizzard doesn’t care about the health of the game, they just care about collecting that sweet southern cheddar $$
The better player should have no issue with competing under these circumstances and if they do? then they have a need to feel better than others, it’s more of a personal issue.
If anything, they should at least implement OP’s idea specifically for 2s only.

But it’s fine to agree to disagree. by the time classic eventually makes it way back up to shadow lands again, you can enjoy the way the rules run now. Change is a good thing buddy, just have to learn to accept that your ways of thinking wont be mainstream for long.
