Not a lot, maybe go to a movie by myself once a month. The money is inconsequential. The time, however, isn’t.
Well lets be honest if you value your time that much wow is really not a good place for you to be, since its really a waste of time and you dont accomplish anything
Well yes/no…my other game will be coming out about the same time 10.1.5 comes out…I’m skipping it to play my new free game palia…it just might be my new home… actually I just saw the dev video and I have decided that I will be retiring from wow…and palia will be getting all my time and attention…looking forward to my video game by singular 6 studios…
Haven’t been able to play for 3 days lol.
When I was playing I was having fun though…
It’s something chill I can wind down with. A man can’t be going 100% full stretch all the time.
Why would I play a video game I wasn’t having fun with?
I am, I enjoy RPing alot with people and playing out their storys. It’s a nice change up while I wait for my next DnD session!
I’m enjoying WoW by taking a break and playing something else
They’re taking all the challenge out of the game. You cant satisfy everyone and they’re now finally choosing to satisfy the casual community which overall is good for the game however a little grind isnt too bad right? my biggest complaint is the story telling. Its been terrible since BFA. SL was D tier…DF story telling is F tier. This game is heading towards some hello kitty fantasty island type lore and its honestly sad.
I’ve got a lot of content to get through, so yes.
I mean…I do agree they tend to over exaggerate and be dramatic…but a lot of us can see the storytelling has just been very badly done.
There’s too many gaps and mistake and questionable unrealistic choices that makes it just spit on the memory and theme we grew up with.
BfA alone had its story all over the place from writer shenanigans and Shadowlands was a last minute rewrite with obvious coverups to what could have been.
Also the changes to try to focus us more towards point/power based systems and grinds for advancements in simply gameplay was just…unfun.
One of the most intelligence-insulting things during BfA was when they tried to tell us that there were no Old Gods in BfA…as we were surrounded by minions of the Old Gods by the dozen. Like, come on now.
Yes I am and yes I am.
I manage to have pockets of fun, sometimes, but not regularly. I mainly PvP, it’s a mixed bag.
Overall, it keeps me distracted I guess, lol. Hence why I’m probably not gonna be around too much longer.
Probably gonna try healing again, on a different class, while I have time.
Like some others have asked; why would you play a game if your not having fun?
Sporadically.
Once I finish the mog set for my Warrior I don’t think there will be much else to keep me around for retail.
Thinking maybe going back to Wrath for abit.
I understand there are people who really like the world content. In many respects we agree about power and where it comes from but for some rather distinct reasons.
I for one think instanced content helped kill the community aspects of WoW. That if power were gained solely from the world you would see way more people in the world and that would obviously improve community.
I think people want the world content which requires a lot less time commitment. There’s nothing wrong with that either. In 1999 EverQuest it took ages to do anything important because while it was fully open world it was limited technologically. You couldn’t just join and drop a group on the fly like you can in WoW. The way it worked was simply limited for its time.
Instancing has always been the nuke where the issue needed a scalpel. It prevents any sort of community building for the majority of players including new players. If new players spawned into a world where millions of players were actively engaged they wouldn’t be leaving for better designed online games.
Do I have fun in the same way as I used to have fun, no I do not. My fun has had to evolve with the way the game has evolved since WoD and mostly Legion onward. I moved from pretty hardcore raider to being now pretty casual just leveling toons and relaxing play. Raiding has lost its excitement and reward for me. I never was excited or enjoyed Mythic +. So I have chosen to digress back to the way I played the game pre Cata.
I don’t feel the game is as rewarding of an experience as it used to be for the amount of time you must spend in doing things.
At least all my healer friends say absolutely NO
i’m not having fun… seems like the only thing to do these days for any exspansion at end is farm… which i do not enjoy doing. however the only reason i still play is there is nothing to watch on television. both this game and television went sideways.
