Are you happy playing wow?

I know a few people still have the ability to post without a sub. To those that still play, are you happy when you play? Do you still get that good feeling when playing? If so what do you enjoy the most?

If you’re not happy playing…why are you playing?

For me I do enjoy myself. I love playing alts but I’m also remembering why I love my male human paladin. I’m well aware they’re a meme around these parts but I hope to be the beacon that stomps out the normal high and mighty MHP.

Yes, I very much enjoy playing. I love the new zones, the story, exploring and finding something new.

And if I start feeling a little bored of the grind, I can jump into some battlegrounds or finish up previous content or finally level a Horde toon for BFA.

Very happy or i wouldn’t be playing in the first place still.

I first read that as bacon and got excited.

I am very happy playing right now.

Yeah. If I wasn’t happy, I wouldn’t be paying 15 bucks a month just to complain. That’d not only be a huge waste of money, it would also be really sad and pathetic.

Exactly…

Nobody’s happy here. The happy people have nothing to complain about so they don’t feel the need to voice their opinions. Everyone here is here to complain. Clowning WoW and Blizzard has grown into an easy way to court positive attention. You don’t have to post anything substantive. It’s as easy as “Don’t you have phones?” and the acceptance from your peers pours in.

You should ask yourself about all the people who don’t feel the need to come here just to complain for attention. Kul Tiras and Zandalar still seem heavily populated to me. Goldshire and the Trading District of Stormwind are as packed as they ever were. Nazjatar is horribly congested. I had no issues with queue times for timewalking last week either.

Maybe these users have their opinions on Battle For Azeroth. Maybe they even took an extended break like I did when warfronts and islands were the only thing to do while not being even the least bit appetizing. But people are still around and probably coming back. Maybe Battle For Azeroth was a truly horrible event in World of Warcraft’s history but anything around for fifteen plus years is gonna have highs and lows and just because things are bad now doesn’t mean they won’t get better.

So my advice to you, OP, is to not worry about it. I wouldn’t even bother with the forums or r/WoW on Reddit. There is nothing to gain from either of them but being pushed to one extreme of the two sides of opinion. Just follow your heart, play WoW if you want to, and don’t if you don’t. Don’t worry about what the echo chamber thinks.

Yes of course I am. If I weren’t I’d be playing something else.

Lol wow has so many working parts… you can enjoy some parts but feel like other parts just aren’t that great and it affects your enjoyment overall. I think I enjoy it more than dislike but I’ve been having a lot of trouble staying excited to play the end game content for a long time in both WoD and BFA. The majority of the time spent is in Old expansions and after so much time I can feel myself start to not want to play because I’ve done this stuff so many times the fun starts to go away. Still my hopes are high for Blizzcon and am still excited to see what happens.

No. I’m subbed and playing out of obligation because retail and Classic are going to be a package deal. So I’m playing retail atm just chillin

I’m not happy with 8.2 but I do currently enjoy playing to collect appearances and play Battlegrounds.

I’m enjoying my time in WoW. When I don’t, I take breaks.

I love BfA areas. They’re so different from each other. I don’t really like the grind, but it’s part of the game so I tolerate it.

When I need a break I head over to SWtOR or hook up to OLD original Nintendo and play some duck hunt or dr Mario. If I don’t want to game, I find a new book series to read and go full force there.

If I’m sick of my character, I tend to start up a new one and then quickly realize how much I hate leveling and then head back to one of my regular characters.

Hitting up battlegrounds or dungeons helps too, until you find yourself in with a bunch of folks who get testy.

Any time I get a chance to play I enjoy myself. Always a great escape .
