You’re a fool. I’m here for some nostalgia. I enjoyed the talent trees more then, than the future change of the garbage they have now (one of the reasons for it’s downfall, bud). You act as if every retail player wanted every single change a development team brought. You’re wrong.
Most people didn’t want raid finder. Most people didn’t want the talent tree’s to go away. Blizzard went ahead and did it anyhow. Where was the animosity then? Where were folks like YOU when this happened?

Kids buying the gear are not as good as the folks at the top of the food chain already, period. They’re likely buying the carries to get the desired mount or whatever and moving on. And KEEP THAT IN MIND BUDDY, Some excellent PVP or PVPERS have to carry that person. You blame the system. I think you need to realize, it’s the playerbase dude.
It’s like 90 percent of players first go.

when did i ever imply that most of the player base wanted these changes. now your just putting words in my mouth. i just understand what they are trying to do and it aligns with what im enjoying. and still even some of the stuff they have done is not good imo like adding boosts to tbc and wrath.

It’s the community doing it. Not Blizzard. It’s not something blizzard provides, period. I don’t even think they condone that stuff as far as PVP is concerned. Not so sure on the PVE aspect of carries.
as long as you buy it with gold they dont care and they put the token there so you can do it without breaking tos

Which leads me to say, again, Dungeon finder had nothing to do with retail wow of today. Sometime during cataclysm, the old school developers left (those that were leads and developed through wrath), and we were stuck with the new school of thought. The changed stats (added mastery, etc), removed the talent tree’s into the junk it was. Added raid finder at the end of cata (pure toxic carry garbage). Added way more microtransactions (inevitible, not nearly as bad as…). Added boosts and eventually a WoW token.
Cata was the point the game started getting pooped on. Retail now has literally revolved back to what it was to some extent that what you see in group finder of classic, is what folks use today for mythic+ finding. However, that tool reaches across realms, which is needed for classic.
it all started in wotlk. it was subtle but it started here. RDF fundementally changed the way ppl play the game forever. so to some maybe thats not a big deal but to others the game was never as fun again.
ITT: Gatekeepers defending their gatekeeping while claiming there is no gatekeeping.

i mean they made classic for people that were tired of retail systems. so technically by wanting to bring these systems into wotlk your the one gatekeeping.

Super easy to find groups as both Tank and DPS. Just gotta open up the LFG tool and invite any of the 20+ people sitting there listed solo across all roles.
I suspect the vast majority of people endlessly complaining about not being able to find a group or gatekeeping are just too lazy to bother inviting people. So I guess it makes sense why they can’t get over not having RDF. If the game doesn’t do this simple task for you, it sucks, right?

No, they made classic because they wanted to sell you boosters and other stuff to make money. And even then you classic andys managed to destroy it by turning it into some sort of hellscape filled with RMT on a scale never before seen and encouraging toxic practices like GDKP that any real Vanilla player from 2004-2007 would’ve been physically ill from.

no they made classic cuz a ton of ppl kept bugging them to do it so finally they did it. all the money from ppl and bots boosting is just a plus
