Perhaps it’s like how all my alts are offered the Siege of Undercity, but the burning of Teldrassil is “hardly a part of the story” because it’s not there anymore?
Why do people act like they will never get a job because getting to Ordon Sanctuary, or other in-game nonsense, doesn’t show up on their resume?

The Climax of MoP is Varian threatening the Horde, and the Horde meekly surrendering. The Wrathion thing isn’t important, I’m sorry to say.

Well what about the pvp part of the cloak? How did this fit into the story at all go beat up some enemy players in a BG version of Simon and I’ll give you a magic cloak
You can mog that look if you get Field Marshal, the weapons if you get Grand Marshal, which is still obtainable today.
They didn’t “pull the same stunt”, go earn those mogs if you want low def blurry texture mog.
So is getting 100k honor on every character you wanted that essence on (originally) a part of any story? Do you have any idea how long that takes? I was spamming bgs for weeks when I got that achieve (just doing pvp, mind you, on a 110). Yeah, they’ve reduced it somewhat. It’s still a heinous requirement that smacks more of disrespect toward the playerbase than anything else.
Why do people feel the compulsion to mock others without reason?

Back in MoP, players were told they can access the sanctuary without the cloak.
Cloak was removed, but access was not given.

You don’t understand. He wants to do everything. He wants to play the expansion as if it was current content, as it was during current content. All of it. The whole story.
But he can’t and he never will. He’ll never see the Vale in all its glory, as the panda I first sent to Pandaria did. If I’d known that part of the story would disappear I would have played less with alts and more on Timeless (which at the time I didn’t see much point in).

I think you just misremember what was promised. My alts whom I created after Mists can go to the Ordon Sanctuary just fine.
Are you saying that nobody did that? There were many complaints at the time, mostly from raiders who wanted to max out their achievements. So that’s the wrong thing to want?
Did you not read what I said, or did you twist what I wrote to make it sound like I was saying something different?
Did you do no pvp on any character? That’s remarkably hard to believe. No doubt you have those essences, and I bet they are maxed out. But since you’re hiding your main, we can’t check, can we?
Nope, I remember specifically what occurred because the forums had outrage over it.
Your alts can go to the Sanctuary, because ONE of your characters did the legendary quest.
If you never got the cloak, you got screwed.

I don’t remember anyone complaining about Rank 4 Blood of the Ennemy, which is still 100k Honor.
And to answer you : no, I do not have Rank 4 BotE.
Then clearly you weren’t paying attention. There were LOTS of complaints about it.
I was pretty surprised myself, considering how many hours of pvp I had gone through and gotten that achieve, though that character will probably never level up.
I like how they made honor and honor achievements account-wide, but still require people to repeat them on different characters. Don’t you?

And what about people that weren’t WoW players back then? Forget them, I guess? Even then, that’s not the point. Blizzard has said - multiple times I believe - that they would open up the area now that the cloak is no longer obtainable. But they haven’t.
There’s almost no reason to be against opening it up, if there’s even a reason at all.
