Are you going to respond to the rampant premading by the alliance or just leave it as is?

You are right. I would love a queue as group option.

But for now if we had more Alliance players it would balance things out.

Tbh, it would probably just make it harder for Alliance to queue as you’d have longer queues.

There are forums with horde crying about Alliance premades in wsg. You think adding premades to AV, something that never existed in classic, will solve your problems?

Its a player problem. There are way too many of you and a lot of alliance quit because horde griefed them off the game in phase 2. The only #nochanges solution would be for players to balance out the factions by rerolling.

I am just going to leave this here for general information. People can do with it what they want. Info is taken from the wowwiki page. Sorry i am unable to provide the direct link but a quick google search should help you verify it:

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade [Patch 2.4.0] (25-Mar-2008):

  • Major buffs have been applied to Warmasters and Marshalls; Warmasters and Marshalls now increase each other’s maximum health and maximum damage by 25%. This is a stacking buff.
  • The Horde cave has been moved significantly south, so Horde players start very near to the Frostwolf Keep.
  • Join as Party returns to Alterac Valley. (NOTE: “Join as Party” does NOT mean “Join as Group”. Only 5 players can queue at the same time.)
  • The time required for the first capture of Snowfall graveyard has been reduced from five minutes to four.

I am not against that. I like to roll solo sometimes anyway. I just like healthy server balance and it would make world PvP more enjoyable.

As it is now I usually see 3-5 horde players for every alliance player I see out in the open world.

Yeah start of phase 2 was really bad. Some people on my friends list have disappeared and haven’t came back.

I was on the verge of quitting myself but held out for BGs.

3 weeks of not being able to play for many alliance players was horrible.

Exactly. “Join as party” is all I’m saying should be here.

You finally understand! Player driven solutions to player created problems!

No thank you, you can keep your retail features (which is what this is) in your retail games. Many of us do not want to go down that path.

Next thing you know we are asking for EMFH (which even horde has already asked for) Horde Paladins (also reqeusted by horde) and Alliance shammies. That sounds like TBC because people can’t accept the nuances of Classic.

Maybe this isn’t the game for you after all.

Note it said “returns” which means it was in Vanilla.

Sounds like Burning Crusade functionality. Interesting to see people suggest that on a forum about Classic WoW.

5 man party queuing was in Vanilla.

Not in this recreation of 1.12 that we have. And the Vanilla function you’re suggesting allowed for premades of 40. Next question.

Well said.

There was a reason it was removed. Several in fact. People who didn’t play Vanilla must not know, or if they did they forgot why.

I for one don’t want to backslide into those problems again.

Horde players gloated as Alliance players quit- far as I’m concerned there’s nothing more vile than taking pleasure from others not being able to enjoy their hobby to the point that they stop doing it entirely.

You can’t premade for AV? There’s players that couldn’t do anything at all because of Horde. And the reason you can’t premade is because you did all you could to get Alliance to quit, so now there’s fewer Alliance in BGs.

Literally a problem of your own creation you made for yourself by being evil to other players. What’s happening now is karma, a punishment of your own making.

Join as party, not raid.

Confirmed, didn’t play Vanilla. Wants retail functionality in Classic. Maybe this game isn’t for you.

Even you said it

Those are patch notes and you are splitting hairs with the wording which wouldn’t be confusing if you played vanilla.

Sorry, you are losing the battle here Jugs. Maybe this game isnt for you.

Returns, meaning you used to be able to in earlier versions of Vanilla.
