Are you going to play Dracthyr?

As a main? No. Absolutely no chance there.
As an alt? Of course. I literally have an account full of mostly 60’s and at least all are 50+. I already made 2 slots and will end up leveling 2 eventually.

I leveled one on the Beta through their start zone. It’s a fun and pretty mobile caster, but casting itself needs a massive redo from the ground up to make them as good/fun/powerful as your typical mongo melee/tank.

Not interested in playing a caster and they look stupid

Nah, I think they look stupid and the fantasy doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll be sticking to my existing characters.

It’s one of the few I games I can count on a single hand that lets you play as a dragon, so absolutely! I want beta access so bad…

Probably not since I don’t generally play casters. I’m not good at adapting to the stand still to attack playstyle. So as long as they only have caster specs I won’t play one seriously. Maybe I’ll make one to try out the new class but nothing beyond that.

I don’t know yet. I like range players, though.

Yes, I will be playing Dracthyr.

I’ll roll a Dracthyr as soon as I can.

It’s not that I have any real passion for it, but with DF we have a New Game.

There’s so much that’s changing. Like Legion and the DH, we have an entire expansion built around this class.

So, start fresh. Start anew. New game, new class, new everything.

Everyone else gets parked for the short to mid-term.

They’re really cool ability wise and flying. But they’re ugly as sin so I will not be playing one. HUMANS FOR LIFE!

No.

Healing PUGs on a 25-yard range is not fun, half the party will die and then the healer automatically gets kicked.

Healing organized PVE on a 25-yard range requires everyone to have to pay attention to the boss AND to my positioning. This is not fun for anybody involved.

Long hard casts on dps on a 25-yard range means loss of dps to mobs dying before you get off your last cast and moving out of range in both PVP and PVE.

PVP hard casting on a 25-yard range is an invitation to getting stuck in an interrupt+CC fest.

Once the novelty wears off, Dracthyr will die out.

You playing a human. Doesn’t get much worse than that in wow.

Having made several based on different themes on the 3 Beta realms, I’ll make one for the customizations alone. I’m not a huge fan of how transmog works…there may be shoulders I like and wanna show on the visage form, but have hidden on the main form…and as far as I can tell there’s no way to do that. It’s either always hidden or always visible. But that’s being nitpicky on my part. Overall I had fun making the characters and then playing the class as well. It’s different to get used to at first but once you’ve got the basics down it’s fun.

I might try it out but I’m not not at all excited for it like I was demon hunter.

I already reserved several anime names for my Dracthyr.

Until they remove the dracyhar only rule not playing. Those things creep me out too much

I made on one Beta and it’s the creepiest looking butt-ugly thing ever. No thanks. I wouldn’t want to play one. I semi-enjoy playing casters, but this one’s not for me. I choose characters based on aesthetics as much as anything else.

I’ll make one but won’t play it seriously. With a new baby I’ll only have time to play my boomkin.

I typically play 1 main an expac and keep a singular toon sort of geared each patch. Evoker is going to be either an alt or a main for me based on how the whole ‘channeled spells’ thing feels in combat. I’ll most likely be playing monk or druid alongside it on the launch patch and what will be my main a few weeks in

I think that it will be like that South Park episode where everyone chose the same thing and look alike.
