Are those suppose to be sources? My question is a rhetorical question - blizzard doesnt give us these figures, so whoever said X or Y about population numbers is BSing and potentially relying on unverified 3rd party data
I mean if there’s a bunch of people crying that they’re being gatekept from raids because of their low parse, I wouldn’t say that the game got more social after GDKP bans. They also refuse to join guilds (despite the CM actually making a twitter post saying this will basically solve their problems) so I don’t see how banning GDKP was a positive for the game socially at all.

I’m willing to bet that there is much less RMT going on now that people don’t need to buy gold to straight up buy BiS in GDKPs 
And with increased gold from quest rewards pre-max level this solves the issue of buying a mount, buying green gear from AH to help with leveling etc. So yea I think Blizz is actually doing a really solid job in LOWERING RMT…RMT will never disappear, but they can mitigate it.

I too blindly trust anything that supports my on views on a subject(sarcasm), those posts you linked couldn’t possibly be alt accounts or just flat out trolls.
Yup, that’s a post by the bangdkp guy, totally a trustworthy and legitimate source over blizzard. There’s Siamese, a guy who I last saw freaking out over breaking ToS in the CS forums, another flawless source of factual information.

Just pretend GDKP never existed at all…then it wouldn’t hurt your feelings it’s gone and the people that didn’t want it won’t care either. GDKP being banned doesn’t provide any necessary aspects to WoW for anyone…it’s a want vs a need. Not having GDKP doesn’t break the game, it just breaks your heart.
Let it go and pretend GDKP never existed in the first place. It’ll make it go down easier.
