The biggest problem premades are causing in addition to stripping the absolute fun out of the game for others, is the huge gear gap against the pugs.
Pugs have to struggle for conquest in addition to honor (which is weak in comparison) where as premades are gaining 2+ pieces a day because they run non stop, -some of these people are logging 12+ hour sessions. Pugs might as well forget gearing their alts. Premades? They have no problem at all because they’re in a carry community.
Blizzard said they were cracking down on third party apps and scouting, but games are still starting a group short and you have random afk bots who may or may not be scouts. I have seen things said in communities and seen multi-boxer players who were on both factions at the same time, and you know they’re using it as a reporting tool in live time. These people are more often than not, communicating in real time on discord, so it’s hella easy to reinforce, defend and play offense when you know where to go without looking or having to stop and call.
So, you can’t convince me that these people are looking for a good time that doesn’t basically involve griefing other players, which is essentially what they’re doing by stacking 10-12 healers (i’ve seen more), insane hit point pools and full conquest gear, enchants and gems. If they were looking for competition, they’d be in rated.
I’m old. I’ve played this game too long and I’m just tired of the bologna that the developers refuse to fix. Honestly, the only viable solution is to disallow group queuing, period.
The gear gap exists only through player choice. It is possible to be nearly BiS geared with nearly no pvp, under the protection of the rest of a raid team farming crates in about a day. Since farming crates with a raid is vastly more efficient, time vs currency, than even flawlessly queue syncing coworkers into both teams of the same solo bg instance repeatedly, it is difficult to argue that a gear disparity exists, other than by choice. The gear is free and easy, while winning instanced matches as a solo player against communities getting raid teams into the same matches or even the allowed party size of 5 is not going to be free or easy. Just choose to handle the gear acquisition prior to the instanced content so gear disparity is no longer a concern. If solo queuing is still not providing the fun, get some friends together or folks from LFG and hop in discord to queue together.

I personally remember someone from Shadowlands/DF who played three accounts at the same time, had toons in all the premade communities and could therefore take whatever pops he wanted.
Sometimes he would use info gathered from the various Discords to stir the pot so to speak.
Prepared was his name, I think? I never faced that.
I don’t think I did mass scale pvp outside of WG/Tol Barad until BfA when warmode came in. There was a different guy (or was it?) that was doing the same thing with at least 25 unholy death knights.
I can’t imagine managing 25+ accounts just to camp Tortollan quests.
It was madness and extreme lag like never seen before. I was with a guild that was able to defeat him several times but if you were not ready… its gg. Those dk dots would smash everyone.
This is what abusers always say. Check yourself. You can say whatever you want, just understand that people are smart, and they can 100% tell what you are.
