Are you a coffee drinker?

Columbian roasted coffee
Two tablespoons of cream
a tablespoon of Vanilla flavoring.

Delicious! I am drinking a cup now.

This time of year, I take my coffee w/ a quarter cup of Peppermint Mocha non-dairy creamer… Usually a Dark Roast.

Good stuff.

Black French roast when I first get up. Later on I might have another cup foofed up like some of the other ideas others posted.

I cold brew at home with a small cupping set up. My daily intake is 20 oz. of brew with an optional splash of oat milk. (EDIT: It’s been a little over a year since I’ve had a cup of hot coffee).

Beans are a medium roast from Marcala in Honduras. I buy them in-person 1lb at time at the roastery 15 minutes away from my home (we live in a popular resort area of the US so we have five local coffee roasters right nearby).

My one concession: I have the roaster grind it for me when buy it it because I have yet to find a burr grinder for the home that produces a grind consistent enough for my liking; the roaster just has way better gear.

Once I get it home, it goes immediately into an airtight canister. A lb of ground beans gives me exactly 15 servings.

Make it in a French press with a dash of salt and cardamom. Sometimes brew it with an orange peel.

It depends on my mood on how I drink it. Most days black. If my stomach is on the fritz, I might toss in cream and a dab of sugar. If I’m feeling like I need a little extra comfort, cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. I’ve also recently found lavendar syrup I make goes decently in it, with oil from fresh sage rubbed on the outside rim of the coffee mug. That discovery came from a local coffee shop who had a schnootzy menu. I was doubtful it’d be drinkable but the barista promised me if I didn’t like it, they’d make me whatever I wanted for no extra charge. So now I’m amping up my herb garden

The only coffee I can drink straight, or close to, is NM Pinion. It’s the only coffee I’ve found that doesn’t have any bitterness and it smells amazing brewing.

Everything else, I have to have a bunch of sugar and cream. Usually, Dutch Bro’s Picture Perfect Dutch Freeze or flavored iced cappuccino.

dark roast with cream with a bit of sugar, I adore coffee and honestly I’m not picky about it. I love ice coffee too.

Peets Major Dickinson blend in a French press with a teaspoon of sugar and a dollop of half and half. One cup in the morning now that I’m retired. Just a perfect way to linger over the morning newspapers.

Oh so many ways…

I do like a nice latte or macchiato now and again. Once in a while, I’ll get an Americano. At home, I vary between black and with creamer in the mornings. In the summer, I will drink iced coffee with some sweetener on a hot day. In the fall, a nice hot mochaccino with whipped cream while sitting by the fire.

Dutch Bros MAFIA!

At home, I just do a light breakfast roast with plain creamer. That’s the smell of mornings to me from when I was a kid and my mom did the same.

Out and about, I’ll do something like a half-sweet vanilla latte. The older I get though, the less my stummy will accept super sweet drinks or even the harshness of coffee and I’ve been doing tea a lot more often.

When the red cups bring Gingerbread Lattes to Starbucks, though, IT’S ON.

Black.

And lots of it.

Hello Caffeine folks,

I went without coffee from January to October of this year. Was trying to ā€œrecycleā€ my caffeine tolerance. I’ve only really dug straight, no chaser coffee (black). I don’t have refined taste for bean varietals or roast type. And I usually drink 2-3 12ounce servings a day. Its been marvelous consuming it again.

Bleh… I do not drink coffee.

Too bitter.

8 weeks of Basic is the only time I went without coffee my entire adult life.

Man, what a time to make a change. I’m sure that first cup felt well deserved.

2 cream. No sugar. Sometimes I’ll treat myself and buy caramel coffee.

I used to love green tea with matcha but unfortunately I developed a sensitivity to histamines and all types of tea actually supress the natural production of antihistamines in your body, strangely enough. I can’t eat bananas for the same reason so no more smoothies either.

Now I’m just a run of the mill coffee drinker. Oh well. At least it smells good. :upside_down_face:
