I used to be a 100% clicker.
It took a particularly close loss in arena (while my brother was yelling at me in ventrillo) to break the habit and learn to play properly.
Iām certain that with the introduction of LFR, the clicker population has increased as more players can effectively beat the game (as far as theyre concerned) without knowing much on how to play it.
I learned with FF14. The longer GCD made it a little easier. I liked the layout of the abilities in Skyforge, so I set up my abilities like that, replacing W with an ability instead, and expanding the layout a bit. Starting from scratch with a new character slows the learning process down to let you get used to the abilities, too.

To be honest it feels so uncomfortable, when I tried keybinding I would constantly hit the wrong buttons by accident. I use my left hand on the arrow keys to move, occasionally hit tab and space bar. And use my right hand for my epic fast speed clicking. Ez pz
Ill have you know im a world first mythic raider and i play with 1 hand, click all my buttons, and only use a 4" screen.

I find it funny people think itās slower or what not, when most the time Iām so fast Iām waiting for another ability to come off cd or proc, so I have to spam another ability like Whirlwind a few times.
I used to joke around about this with one of my older guilds, and I would say I use dragonspeak lol

I donāt think anyone thinks itās slower to click when youāre in turret dps mode. The problem comes when there are multiple target, lot of movement etc etc.
Itās also harder to strafe for a tank to move back while still being able to block/parry/dodge.
Thatās not a problem right click while using right and left arrows to strafe, space bar to jump.
But then you canāt use skillsā¦
If youāre fast like me you can, just comes natural.
Iām still much faster than you using keybinds and Q and E to strafe, something you just canāt do if you use arrow keys for movementā¦
Whatever makes you feel better, and you can strafe with the arrow keys. Just hover the cursor above the abilities youāre about to use, not hard.
again, logs prove that clicking isnāt effective.
clicking and using click to move are simply not as optimal as keybinds 
Do you even use your mouse to pan the camera?
The worst part about conversations like this is that people are potentially convincing others that clicking is as viable as keybinding, when it objectively is not.
Iām not saying one is better than the other, but clicking is definitely viable. Maybe I should of kept lying and say I keybind.
Yes, and Iām not ashamed to admit it. Call me a clicker noob if you want but thatās the way i play. I tried to use keyboard to do everything and it just doesnāt work. I tried to tank a heroic using only my keyboard and it just royally sucked. My tank is decently geared and i made an idiot out of myself by trying a different style of play that just didnāt work. The only thing i use my keyboard for is moving and strafing.

the ONLY time i click my spells is for spells that i donāt hot key which is 1-2 only i donāt hot key them usually because i put them on my bar next to a hotkey i mostly use and sometimes my fingers will roll over to that key and use that ability wasting it.
usually it is things like HS or TW. so many times i wasted TW and got yelled at lol.
only addon i would say i heavily rely on is healing addons because i donāt want to waste my time making mouse over macroās but itās practically the same thing. iāve been playing mmorpgās all my life WoW isnāt my first nor does it have the most buttons in the first one iāve played the first mmorpg i played has a TON of buffs that are not passive and the bosses will actually dispell you and if that happens 1 shot and your dead.

I believe Iāve won a few close arenas just because Iām a backpedaling clicker lol maybe it just throws the good players off
