I’m a 1-spec-per-toon person.
This is why I have multiple Hunters actually; a few different MM builds, BM, my old retired RSV hunter, and a MSV hunter.
This applies to my other toons too. Throughout the 16 years I’ve played WoW, I’ve only respecced three alts (once each) due to NOT having fun on their original specs. (Feral → Resto in WotLK, Demo → Destro in Legion, and Outlaw → Assassination in BFA.)
