My guild had a guy around 60 years old during vanilla. So he’d be around 75 now. Hope he’s still playing or will be back.

While I didn’t play in vanilla I am a bit of an old fart clocking in at 31. It’s reassuring to know I won’t be alone in having to juggle leveling and kids etc.
As for hair, I’m too scared to stop dyeing it long enough to see if I’ve gone grey.
I’m over 30 and a millennial, fam.
49 so I barely made it in.
Inside I’m still about 18. Some days, probably a lot of days, more like 15.
49 when I started playing vanilla, 63 now and retired. Can’t wait for the 26th.

My friend’s father was THE desktop publisher for the school where he taught and Al-Anon chapter he was a member of. Everything he purchased for his desktop publishing was bought in 1979-1981. Equipment he no longer needed was passed down to us.
The Commodore 64 didn’t arrive on scene until 1982 - so, with all the money we had invested into our Atari equipment and the work we had done collecting games and code for the BBS, it didn’t make sense to invest in any other 8-bit system.
By the time '85-86 rolled around, I did manage to pick up a spare C-64 for fun, but was lucky enough to start working with some early IBM PC clones - and eventually went full on DOS 3.2 as my first experience working with what I’m still putting to use to day… batch script FTW.
- No grey hair yet. It’s thinning, receding and instead growing out of my ears now. Graduated in '00 so I have no clue if I’m Gen X or a Millennial, but have come to terms with both. I saw Korn, Offspring and 311 in concert growing up, along with others. 50 cent was the worst concert I ever went to though.

ye of little faith, I felt the same way about ever coming back to wow , but here I am, if I can find a way to enjoy it again, for free, so can millions of other subscribers who hanged up the wow gloves.
