Very true. Before I looked up a source, I remember other sources earlier said if you were born after '84, you’re a millennial. This one says after '81.
My response was more of the point that we’re not baby boomers.

Age has advantages.
You’re not a baby boomer but in present day slang, you are a boomer.
You also have a lot of company.
Tis true, not knocking on the older folks, just saying. Time definitely is short. I still wake up before work and think “It feels like yesterday I was just getting up for school as a kid, watching my dad leave for work. Now I’m the one doing that while my son watches me leave.”
I am so not a Boomer, but then I work in software development and spend a lot of time with others younger than me and have adapted to a modern world more than most of my age.
The one thing I will never understand is the selfie culture and Instagram-famous.
Millennials are and have always been also known as Generation Y, not Generation Z.
You go shave the top of your head right now! Leave the sides though. Maybe a touch of grey too…
I will be 37 when classic launches
52 here, Retired US Navy. All the Time to play.
That’s funny…I was 37 when the Actual “Classic” Game started in 2004.
I’ll celebrate my 56th birthday a few days after Classic goes live. A nice little Birthday present for me! And loving the fact that I’m retired and can just play to my little old heart’s content!
I’ll be 41 before the year’s done!
Unfortunately I didn’t start until just before TBC hit, though the leveling content stayed pretty much the same through WotLK.
Played since late Vanilla. I am 38.
29 turning 30 in November.
Been playing off-and-on since beta.
Yes, I am.
One Noggenfogger coming up.
This is my counter argument to people saying Classic will fail because it takes too much time and claiming everyone is busier with jobs and families. Sure, if you were 12-18 when vanilla was new, you caught up to where we older folks were at the time. And we still managed to raid, play, have fun. And now, we’re close to retiring. Our kids are grown or at the least can take care of most things by themselves.
So, 40-something gamer here, reporting in. My kids can make their own dinner, or they can go pick up take out so I never have to leave my chair. It’s like Cartman in Love and Warcraft, but with an adult.
Soon to be 56 and friend resubbing is 65
33 and I feel great! I played in the open beta and started my acct Jan 05 just as my first semester of college was starting.
I am quite amazed at how many 50+ aged gamers there are on here, I don’t think I have ever met one in person. Maybe it has something to do with different parts of the country and living in a very outdoor oriented state?
