I kind of suspect that we will actually ‘free’ the other part of Sylvanas’ soul in Torghast that the Jailer is using to control her. Then with her soul reunited she will help us defeat the Jailer (and she gets to take over his job).
That way it wasn’t her fault she was a genocidal maniac and they get to keep selling body pillows with her picture on it.
