Asking for friend that wants to cut costs by extending the time between content updates.
two days, dude. you can do other things for TWO DAYS.
Not sure what you were trying to get at there.
FWIW I was thinking along the lines of the long content droughts serving as a perverse incentive for management to cut teams and budgets further.
If they can lock us in with 6 month subs and train us to be happy and thankful when they get around to gracing us with some new content, why spend money do anything other than give us content once a year?
What, you think they can just snap their fingers and magically produce content? Grow up.
If you’re expecting Blizzard to somehow produce new and engaging content for you 365 days of the year then you should probably just quit now.
Also I love how it’s perfectly acceptable for every of other industry to underperform during Covid but people still expect Blizzard to be running at 120%.
Get a grip dude
There’s a saying, Nine woman can’t make a baby in one month.
The lesson isn’t supposed to be some things just can’t be brute forced. The lesson is if you need 9 babies in one month you need to plan ahead.
There’s nothing that can’t be done. Just things they don’t want to pay and plan for.

Now that I think about it a little…YES. I’m tired of BFA it needs to go.
Personally, i dont think SL will be amazing by any stretch simply because its just adding back a lot of things that were taken away to begin with (meaningul crafting, feel good to get a gear drop again, having classes play less like mobile game classes, little stuff like that).
They can use this expansion to make a solid foundation for the next expansion.
My only hope is that this will be the last expansion with borrowed power being the only way to progress. People that say borrowed power always existed in this game forget to mention that they were completely optional and many people didnt have stuff like legendary staves from cata/mop legendary cape/thunderfury etc. Were you less powerful without any of that? Yes. But could you play well enough without any of those things? Yes. That game design philosophy needs to come back.
I agree 100%. Nerf DH.
And Warlocks. Why do they need a 15% health shield AND a life drain AND spammable CC in several forms AND massive burst damage?
Can I suggest you just find another hobby, instead of gaming.
Getting a 6 month sub is an option. One that you don’t have to take if you wanted to take a break during content droughts. I’ve personally been having a blast leveling characters, and now I’m playing d3’s new season until the expansion launches. I have a 6 month sub and I don’t feel like I’m wasting the almost 2 dollars to take 3 days off to take a quick break.
Please explain what those are? Do they differ from what I stated in the first and third post?
From a management and share holders perspective just looking at this thread I’d say there is no reason to pay for content updates more frequently than once a year. The players will accept that.
It’s just too cheap and easy to get people arguing against their self interest.
